The comic book industry started off February on a strong note this week. DC gave us a touching, two-pronged Swamp Thing adventure in Swamp Thing Winter Special #1 and continued the Justice League/Young Animal crossover in Mother Panic/Batman #1. Marvel debuted the very promising new series X-Men Red and brought Dan Slott’s Amazing Spider-Man run one step closer to completion. And Image gave us a pivotal new chapter of The Walking Dead while launching Ivan Brandon and Esad Ribic’s VS.
