Bad Boys for Life is back on the Sony Pictures release slate.
EW reports the third movie in the franchise — which stars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith — is set to arrive January 17, 2020. That date is roughly 17 years after the sequel landed in theaters and Nelly’s “Shake Ya Tailfeather” wormed its way into our ears.
The new release date is also a bit surprising since Lawrence thought Bad Boys for Life wasn’t likely to happen back in August. The movie also lost director Joe Carnahan last year.
