Comcast Corp. has announced possible plans to acquire 21st Century Fox.
The corporation says it’s “in advanced stages of preparing” an all-cash offer that would would outbid Disney’s official all-stock deal for 21st Century Fox. While Comcast noted that nothing is finalized in the press release, this follows reports of it displacing the Disney deal.
There are a lot of movie and TV show properties up for grabs with the 21st Century Fox acquisition. For instance, if the Disney deal goes through, the Marvel Cinematic Universe could add the X-Men, Deadpool and Fantastic Four.
