Taron Egerton won’t be back for the third Kingsman movie as Gary “Eggsy” Unwin, the actor has revealed.
In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, Egerton broke the news while discussing his upcoming film Robin Hood. The reason for Eggsy not being in the third film appears to be a narrative choice that director and scriptwriter Matthew Vaughn is taking. It’s currently not known if other main characters and actors from the previous two entries will be absent from the film.
“I’m not in the next Kingsman,” said Egerton. When asked why, he responded, “I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you. That doesn’t mean I won’t be a Kingsman ever again. I was with Matthew
