Apex Legends Director On Switch Port, Crossplay, And Stance On Skill Based Matchmaking

Michael Higham sits down with Respawn's Chad Grenier goes in-depth on EA Play announcements explaining Respawn's creative process and endeavours in updating Apex Legends.

EA Play brought with it a ton of exciting news for Respawn's battle royale game, including the fact that Apex Legends cross-play is on the way, as are Switch and Steam ports. Exact release dates for all of this haven't been announced, but you can look for it all later this year.

I hope they match us based on input device, as one of maybe .05 % of people on PC who uses a DS4 controller I get annihilated by mouse and keyboard players haha but in COD I am consistently in the top 3

that's cool, wish activision get on board and release a free to play "call of duty" multiplayer only for "switch" like "call of duty" mobile.

but i wonder, if "apex legends" is going to be tune down it's graphics and resolution to hit 60fps, so that it'll feel like playing "titanfall 2" and "call of duty 4, modern warfare 2".
