Battlefield V Guide - Advanced Loadouts: Assault & Medic

(Presented by Battlefield V) Understanding Battlefield V’s Combat Roles is only half of the battle. Let walking Battlefield encyclopedia Stodeh offer his recommendations for optimal weapon and gadget loadouts across the Assault and Medic classes to give you the edge in the theatre of war.

In this part of our essential guide to Battlefield V's multiplayer classes, we're shifting the focus away from Combat Roles to cover advanced loadouts for each class. In this video, walking Battlefield encyclopedia Stodeh offers his recommendations for optimal weapon and gadget loadouts across the Assault and Medic classes to give you the edge in the theater of war.

When it comes to the Assault class's Light Infantry Combat Role, Stodeh explains which primary weapon is best suited for this aggressive style of play, covering the ideal weapon's rate of fire, reload speed, hip fire accuracy, and so on, before advising on which specialisations to choose from to get the most out of its strengths. We'll also cover the optimal sidearm for this role just in case you run out of ammunition, and delve into which concoction of gadgets is ideal if you want to damage both vehicle and infantry units alike. You might gravitate towards other firearms depending on the map and game mode, but this loadout is excellent in the majority of situations.

As far the the Vehicle Buster Combat Role is concerned, Stodeh has another primary weapon in mind that focuses more on accuracy over longer ranges and a scope that complements the weapon's controllable recoil. There's another set of specialisations to equip for this weapon, and gadgets with an emphasis on destroying tanks, and he explains why one rocket launcher is preferred over another due to its travel time, reload speed, and damage output.

Moving over to the Medic class, Stodeh recommends a primary weapon for the Combat Medic role that's lightning quick and fantastic at hip firing. The specialisations for this weapon force you down a path that buffs your accuracy in order to unlock the extended magazine specialisation. This increase in magazine size excels when you're consistently firing from the hip because you don't need to be super accurate. As for gadgets, Stodeh explains why being able to heal both yourself and your teammates while on the move is advantageous for this particular combat role.

Lastly, we have the recommended loadout for the Medic class's Field Medic Combat Role. For this slightly more passive role, Stodeh recommends a specific primary weapon that's accurate over medium distances, since you don't always want to be right in the thick of the action. The specialisations reflect this focus by buffing accuracy and reducing weapon recoil, while Stodeh's recommended--and multifaceted--gadgets give you a much better chance of reviving
