Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds are two sides of the same very big and very successful coin. They're two of the biggest games in the world right now, and they tackle the same genre--battle royale--in their own unique ways. PUBG is of course a little more focused towards the military sim crowd, while Fortnite has embraced its silliness to good effect. The question is: which game is better?
We decided to sit down and have a lighthearted but passionate debate about which game we prefer. Fighting for PUBG and its slower, more considered pace is Oscar Dayus, while resident flosser Dave Jewitt is one the side of Fortnite's over-the-top action.
Watch the video above to see how the debate turned out. The discussion begins with randomly selected topics, and the pair argue in support of their respective picks. Alongside the serious analysis of each side, there's also some friendly fun-making and jokes at each other's expense.
