It's not a super intense graphical game? Not sure what you're looking at but this looks very close to a pixer Toy Story movie to me and that alone should make it impressive. The animations are stunning. The frame rate is buttery smooth. I don't think I've ever quite seen a game that can pull off pixer graphics at this speed and with this much animation happening on scrren before. Also content wise, KH always goes for 40-80 hours of content.
@chrischronos: Seriously? Your defending a 13 years cycle development? Kingdom heart 2 was released in 2005 in japan and 2006 in North America. I guess you like to wait for your games...
@supamastergamer: The game has not been in development for 13 years. With many other KH games coming out after KH2 and the director and producer of the series also making other square games, it is common knowledge that KH3 wasn't in development any time soon after 2.
@dcoutten: Not 13 but officially since the announcement at E3 2013 so about 5 years. But they were working on this way before 2013. 13 years might be exaggerated but 6 to 7 years is about right and its still a long time
@supamastergamer: I'm know they switched engines once. The switch might have been in late development, causing a lot of set backs although I don't know the state the game was in before the engine switch (or if they even released details about that).
@realzoverfeelz: Same reason they closed comments about Black Panther. They don't have the time/management/resources to moderate such a discussion, yet want to capture as many clicks for people reading the article.
@puckpuck85: This is the only Japanese game I prefer to play in English since it will carry the original character voices from these Disney properties.
