I keep hearing people say how great the writing is. I just don't see it. It felt like they played the same tired joke about a thousand times. Got OLD FAST.

I love Fallout 3 and New Vegas and I loved this game, felt like playing those games again...just on a less grand scale. I played pretty thoroughly and beat the game in 25 hours. For the last half of the game I used the same two weapons only. Also don't know what I did wrong but the few times I tried you using sciences weapons with there "wacky" effects nothing ever seem to happen that was abnormal.

Love the writing, but the weapon and character upgrades are pretty bland and it's starting to hurt my enjoyment a bit. It's a good thing the game is short, because I think solid writing can only take you so far if the gameplay never really evolves over the course of the game.

If Obsidian makes a sequel that keeps the quality story and characters, but expands on the crafting/modding/leveling systems to make them more than just flat stat boosts, they'll have a really amazing game on their hands.

After noticing the agenda stuff injected into this game and reading about how it is intentional I have no desire to play this anymore. All the female characters are given boyish looks and short hair and given every leader ship role in the game while the male characters are made into only villains and idiots. There is just no real equality here at all.

@J_P-:

Dunno...is that really a reason not to play?

Males, particularly White Males are given leadership roles in most character driven games. A Non-Male leadership roles really is the exception.

I can't say my male-hood feels threatened though.

@beantownsean: I was asking about equality, something which sexist men don't want. There's no reason why they can't have both men and women in leadership roles rather than just women.

@Eric_Drav3n: In what way? It has great writing and does have the vibe of New Vegas. It is certainly more fun than Death sinking.
