The Unreasonable But Correct Way To Play The Witcher 3

I played the original Witcher on a PC and Witcher 2 on PS4 a friend of mine downloaded the game and Everything on a external hard drive

Most of us/those diehard enough to do so have already done so..

And no fast travel! I'm serious. Take your time and enjoy the view. There's no rush. Also, this is the most natural way to eventually pass through almost every route and point of interest from as many angles as possible.

And yes, remove that minimap. This is very important. When you play with a minimap your eyes are fixed on that minimap all the time. You no longer look at the world around you and therefore you are no longer immersed in it. When you stop using the minimap, you get better and better at orienting yourself just by looking around you and you pay more attention.

See those castle walls way over there? You don't need a minimap to hold your hand. You can figure it out. Explore. Go where your curiosity leads you. Try different routes. You'll probably find something interesting along the way.

Also, deactivate the option to draw automatically the right sword when you encounter enemies. Draw manually and make sure you choose the right one. That will force you to always be aware of which sword is on which side and which one to use when or face the consequence of your mistake. After all you're supposed to be roleplaying as a witcher.

There is a lot to loot. A LOT. Especially in the city of Novigrad and in the sea around Skellige. Don't loot every crate everywhere obsessively if it starts to take the fun away. Loot some. Leave the rest for later. Play the game instead. You absolutely don't need to loot every crate right away.

Wish I had the time to invest in a game so good and in this way... I CAN'T FINISH IT IN MY XBOX ONE X! I hate Destiny for that...
