The first Elite was wondeful until the rubber grips started to require cleaning every week,and then the flimsy plastic 1mm internal connector for the shoulder buttons snapped.

2nd time the replacement snapped, and I threw the POS away.

The Design Labs build-your-own controller I boughtthe day they were announced is STILL fully functional.

@Pyrosa: Not saying the controller is without issue but they have replacement shoulder buttons for the 1st gen elite controller. Simple fix from Amazon. Other than the grips on mine which I replaced with some scuf grips the controller has been fine.
