Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Review Discussion

Jordan Ramée talks in-depth about his review of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey on episode 4 of GameSpot After Dark, GameSpot's newest podcast.

Update: This episode of GameSpot After Dark contains a few incorrect statements regarding Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, namely: players have the ability to ride horses and create fires, and that creatures other than apes evolve over time. Our reviewer came to these conclusions based on aspects of the game that suggest such possibilities, but after further clarification from Private Division, we now understand these elements are not a part of the game. GameSpot regrets the error. For a more detailed look at Ancestor: The Humankind Odyssey, be sure to check out our full review for a complete breakdown of its sprawling, open-ended campaign.

On this week's episode, Peter Brown, Michael Higham, and Jordan Ramee join Jake to talk about their reviews of Control, Astral Chain, and Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey.

GameSpot After Dark will go live every Friday. Right now, it's audio-only but we're not ruling anything out! Give it a listen and let us know what kinds of things you want to hear, what kind of guests you want us to invite on, and whatever else comes to mind. We want this to evolve and grow into a podcast you love and enjoy listening to as part of your weekly routine, so give us a shout at afterdarkpodcast@gamespot.com.
