Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama has confirmed that the upcoming Action-RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will include backstories that haven’t been told in the manga, further expanding the Dragon Ball universe.
As reported by Comicbook.com, Bandai Namco US shared the announcement on Twitter and Toriyama hopes that these new additions will greatly contribute to the “fresh new take on the franchise as you re-live the moment where Goku discovers his Saiyan bloodline and birth name, Kakarot.”
