What Was Your Favorite New Movie Trailer This Week?
Between the Super Bowl and all the big movies attaching previews before the upcoming release of Black Panther, this week saw a larger than usual amount of new movie trailers and TV spots released.
Solo: A Star Wars Story, Marvel’s The Avengers: Infinity War, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, and Skyscraper were among the upcoming films that received Big Game spots. A trailer for the third Cloverfield film, officially titled The Cloverfield Paradox, also aired during the Super Bowl, ahead of its surprise debut on Netflix immediately after the game.
Child’s Play TV Series in Development
A Child’s Play TV series reportedly is in the works.
Bloody Disgusting reports franchise creator Don Mancini and franchise producer David Kirschner are developing the series together, and it will be a continuation of the story rather than a reboot. It reportedly will pick up where the last film in the franchise, Cult of Chucky, left off.
“We plan to use Child’s Play in the title,” Mancini said. “We want to definitely signal that we are going dark, darker than ever before. It’s going to be very creepy.”
Mancini also confirmed longtime Chucky voice actor Brad Dourif will voice the iconic character in the eight-part, hour-long series. However, not much else about the show is currently known, including where it might premiere. The series also won’t spell the end for the film franchise, according to the new report.

The Logitech G213 Prodigy (See it on Amazon) / (See it on Amazon UK) is a big, hulking “mecha-dome” keyboard designed to feel like a mechanical keyboard, but without the exorbitant price tag. At under $50 it’s quite affordable, yet boasts a lot of features borrowed from its more-expensive counterparts like RGB lighting, a wrist rest, and dedicated media keys. I took the G213 for a spin to check out how this keyboard stacks up to the competition.

The Tick Finally Meets a Spoon in This Exclusive Sneak Peek
The Tick returns to Amazon Prime Video on February 23, and in the remaining six episodes of Season 1, things are going to get weird(er).
After ending the first half of the season on a humdinger of a cliffhanger, creator Ben Edlund tells IGN that “we’re going to be feasting on Arthur meeting and dealing with his lifelong nemesis the Terror,” after the chilling villain captured our long-suffering sidekick-turned-hero in episode 6.
In drawing Arthur further into The Terror’s world, the show will also be exploring more of Arthur’s past, and the traumatic incident that bound him to the villain in the first place.
“One of the fun things that happens in the season that I’m really excited to have people get to watch is the Flag Five and the story of the death of those heroes and the death of Arthur’s father. That hangs like a specter over the story,” Edlund says. “It’s really a big part of the first season, Arthur’s origin story and his first moments with the Terror. But also Midnight, who’s another member of the Flag Five… he steps into the second half and we learn more about how he relates to the Flag Five and get to have fun with that character, and get to unfold what the Terror started that day, and in a lot of ways, how those things come back to both pay dividends to the Terror, and also in some ways act as a thorn in his side.”
