Resident Evil Code: Veronica Part 1 – Resident Kinevil

Despite ending their Resident Evil 7 playthrough on a note of uncertainty, Mary and Mike are back with Resident Kinevil.

Following the first-person mechanics of the series’ most recent entry, Code: Veronica marks a return to fixed cameras and tank controls for Mary. It also proves to be one of the more challenging Resident Evil games, especially in the first several minutes. Let’s just say: things don’t exactly go according to plan.

To get up to date on Mary and Mike’s playthrough of the Resident Evil games, you can visit the show page here, or its YouTube channel here. It’s been a long road, and as of now, there’s no end in sight. Don’t say you didn’t ask for this.

SEGA Teases New Sonic Racing Game

SEGA released a cryptic teaser for a new racing game during its Sonic the Hedgehog panel at SXSW.

The short teaser trailer showcases brief glimpses of a car before highlighting a stylized “R” in the word racing. Check out the teaser below:

Back in January, a leaked internal presentation suggested Sumo Digital, the developers of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, were working on a new karting game. SEGA PR and social media manager Aaron Webber later shot down rumors of a new Sonic and All-Stars Racing game being in the works.

The title of the YouTube video provides no further detail, as it’s simply labeled “Top Secret.”

Agents of SHIELD Saw an Old Hydra Villain Return

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.

“Principia” was the type of typical “back half of the season” SHIELD chapter that made me double-check how many episodes actually remain. Because a lot happened and yet…not much happened. It was one of those running-in-place chapters.

To answer my own internal question, after “Principia” there are nine episodes left so we’re not anywhere close to the full endgame – for the season or the show (should this wind up being the final run). So there was no rush to get anywhere or pressure to do anything drastic. Jake Busey stopped by for a few laughs, as an old friend of Mack’s (who we found out used to be a huge MC Hammer fan), the crew searched a floating boat for a ball of gravitonium, and Mack found some replacement robot arms for Yo-Yo (that was actually really sweet, awwww). There was no big movement though. As in, nothing to drive Coulson and company out of their “hideout/sanctuary of the moment.” They did a basic field trip mission.

Did the Infinity War Trailer Reveal Which Avenger Dies?

It’s no secret that Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War will mean the end for an Avenger — according to directors Joe and Anthony Russo — and the new trailer has a hint to who that unlucky character might be.

Warning: potential spoilers ahead!

The latest trailer for Avengers: Infinity War features Captain America facing off against Thanos, which is pulled directly from the Infinity Gauntlet comic that the movie is heavily inspired by. Unfortunately, if things go the way they did in the comics, then it could be Cap’s last stand.
