How To Play Burnout Paradise Remastered Right Now, Ahead Of Launch

Burnout Paradise Remastered, the updated version of EA’s beloved 2008 racing game, is coming out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 16. But if you have an Xbox One and are an EA Access subscriber, you can play right now.

The game’s “Play First” Trial is available now on Xbox One. It lets you play the full game for 10 hours, and it is a relatively small (by today’s standards) download at 7.66 GB. All progress carries forward, so if you buy the full game after the 10 hours is up, you thankfully do not need to start again. Additionally, EA Access members save 10 percent on all EA digital content, so the $40 game becomes $36 right away.

Timeless Stars Break Down That Big Premiere Twist

This story contains spoilers from the Season 2 premiere of Timeless, “The War to End All Wars.”

As a thank you to the passionate fans that helped “uncancel” the NBC series, Timeless wasted no time in delivering some of the biggest twists of the series in the Season 2 premiere. The hour opened on the jaw-dropping explosion of Mason Industries, and from there, things only got crazier. Lucy (Abigail Spencer), unaware that all her friends on the Time Team survived the explosion set by Rittenhouse, saw no other choice than to join her duplicitous mother Carol (Susanna Thompson) at Rittenhouse and become of the bad guys. But on her first mother/daughter trip to the past to WWI, Lucy’s real plan became clear: she was working to destroy the Mothership and strand herself along with her mother and Emma (Annie Wersching) in the past, effectively stopping Rittenhouse’s mysterious plans.

The Walking Dead Stalls as the Saviors Search for Daryl’s Group

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.

Last week’s episode, “The Lost and the Plunderers,” ended with a moment that seemed to suggest Rick and Negan’s final confrontation might happen sooner than later, but the smart money, when it comes to this series, is to always bet on things being stretched and padded out.

A question here, before I try to dig into Negan’s new bio-warfare plan. Was Gabriel’s road trip with Dr. Carson meant to make us root for him? Was it meant to drum up some sympathy for someone who, for seasons now, has been a somewhat sanctimonious pain in the butt (whenever he was allowed to be anything at all)? Because Gabriel was such a martyr during this trek that I felt myself solidly rooting for things to go to utter s***, which they did. The pointedly on-the-nose dialogue between him and Carson also tended to aggravate more than alleviate.
