A Jay and Silent Bob VR series is in the works from Kevin Smith.
The Tracking Board reports the series is part of STXsurreal’s new VR sate and will premiere on the Surreal channel, which will launch as an app on VR headsets in mid-2018. The series will be written, directed, and produced by Kevin Smith.
Viewers will assume the role of Silent Bob and will go on several adventures with Jay (Jason Mewes), as the duo revisit fan-favorite characters. Last year, Smith also announced that a new Jay and Silent Bob film, tentatively titled Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, is in the works. The story follows the two titular main characters trying to stop Hollywood from rebooting the “Bluntman and Chronic” movie.
