Last Chance On PS4 Pro’s Best Deal Yet In The US

Maybe the God of War review scores sold you on the console. Maybe you just got a 4K television and you want to see just how crisp those visuals can get. There are many reasons you may be in the market for a PS4 Pro. If you’ve decided to take the plunge, here’s the best deal available by far: Between now and April 28, Target is selling the 1TB PS4 Pro console for $320. That’s a savings of $80.

Here’s what you have to do to get it. First, download the Target Cartwheel app and add the 20% off PlayStation 4 Pro Hardware coupon. Then go to a brick-and-mortar Target store that has the console in stock, and present the coupon when you check out. That’s it.

The deal is not available online, nor is it valid with any PS4 Pro bundles. If you have a Target Redcard, you get an additional 5% off the discounted price. But even without that, it’s a killer deal for a powerful piece of hardware that normally costs $400.

In GameSpot’s PS4 Pro review, Jimmy Thang wrote, “Should you buy a PlayStation 4 Pro? If you have a 4K HDR TV and are looking to buy a console, I’d definitely recommend the PS4 Pro. Even if you have a 1080p TV and are looking to buy a PlayStation, I’d still lean more toward the Pro. Yes, it does cost $100 more than the Slim model, but you get more ports, twice the storage space, more future-proof hardware in the event that you ever decide to get a 4K TV, and some games can look slightly better at 1080p.

“If you already have a PS4, however, I wouldn’t make the upgrade unless you have a 4K HDR TV and the extra cash lying around. Graphics enthusiasts may appreciate the improved anti-aliasing and more vibrant colors, but the differences likely won’t blow most people away.”

If you want a PS4 Pro in your gaming arsenal, start by downloading the Target Cartwheel app on iPhone or Android.

Explaining Bruce Banner’s Relationship with Hulk in Infinity War

Spoiler warning: This post contains major plot details for Avengers: Infinity War, so proceed with caution.

Apparently, even the Hulk has performance issues from time to time.

After proving himself the undisputed champion of butt-kicking on Sakaar in Thor: Ragnarok (with a little help from the obedience disk embedded in Thor’s neck), Hulk gets a bit of an attitude adjustment in the opening act of Avengers: Infinity War after being soundly defeated in hand-to-hand combat by Thanos; the Mad Titan not only knocks Hulk unconscious, he also draws blood.

Elder Scrolls Online’s Summerset Expansion Makes ESO Feel Fresh Again

If The Elder Scrolls Online’s previous expansion, Morrowind, could be summed up in a single word it’d be “nostalgia.” The island of Vvardenfell was realized in gorgeous HD for the first time, almost exactly 15 years after The Elder Scrolls III first launched.

Now with its latest expansion, Summerset, ESO is taking a decidedly different approach when it releases on May 21st for PC and June 5th for Xbox One and PS4 by letting players visit the beautiful region of the high elves, the Summerset Isles, for the first time – well, unless you count its brief appearance in 1994’s The Elder Scrolls: Arena. So if Morrowind was all about nostalgia, Summerset is all about breathing new life into the now four-year-old MMORPG.

Netflix’s The Week Of Review

To answer your questions right away: Yes, there’s a new Adam Sandler film. It is indeed part of his multi-picture deal with Netflix (his fourth — The Meyerowitz Stories was a Netflix acquisition not an original production of theirs). Yes, he once again plays a dippy, caustic, mean-spirited, semi-failing, machismo-obsessed father whose good intentions will lead to misery and death. This may be the ninth or tenth time he has played such a role. Yes, the film’s director/co-writer – in this case Robert Smigel – will rely all too heavily on casual cruelty, instances of assault, and legitimate infirmities as means of eliciting limp titters. And yes, as usual, the film is an unfunny mess, punctuated by sappy, wistful, phony emotional climaxes it does nothing to earn.

5 Things the Arrowverse Can Learn From Black Lightning

Black Lightning just wrapped up a successful first season on The CW. While not technically a part of the Arrowverse (at least, not yet), the series does dabble in many of the same tropes and draws on the rich history of the DC Universe. And in some critical ways, it improves on the formula established by shows like Arrow and The Flash.

As we look back on Black Lightning: Season 1, here are five lessons the Arrowverse can learn from its success.

One of the most immediate and obvious ways Black Lightning broke the mold is that it opted for a shorter, 13-episode season. Of course, that’s because it was a midseason debut, and there’s no guarantee that Black Lighting won’t shift to a more traditional 22-24 episode structure for Season 2. But that shorter structure brings with it some major advantages.
