Avengers: Infinity War is fast approaching, so naturally Twitter is flooded with all kinds of love and speculation about the film.

According to information provided to IGN by Twitter, fans and critics have tweeted over 15 million times about the film this year alone, making it the second most tweeted about movie of the year, behind only Black Panther.

Over the past month, fans all over Twitter have been talking about the many heroes and villains in the film, and since his big debut, it’s no surprise the Dark Titan, Thanos is a favorite. Here are the top 5 characters with the most tweets about them:

GRRM Confirms Winds of Winter Will Not Come Out in 2018

The Winds of Winter, the sixth book in George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, will not be released in 2018, the author confirmed today.

“No, winter is not coming… not in 2018, at least,” Martin wrote on his blog. “You’re going to have to keep waiting for The Winds of Winter.”

Last July, Martin said The Winds of Winter was still “months away,” leading many hopeful fans to believe it could be destined for a 2018 release. However, as announced today, the penultimate book in Martin’s popular fantasy series won’t be released until 2019 at the earliest.

BattleTech Review

Rocket boosting a 60-ton mech to the top of mountain then raining down missiles on your enemy will never not be cool. At the same time, seeing every single piece of that salvo miss the one body part you were actually aiming for is pretty much the polar opposite of satisfaction. Such are the highs and lows of BattleTech, a turn-based tactics game that has as much exciting flavor as it does an overreliance on infuriating random-number generation.

BattleTech is an old and iconic franchise that began on the tabletop, where it spurred the creation of video game series like MechWarrior and MechAssault with its giant walking tanks. Here, in a turn-based setting in which you control a highly customizable lance of four mechs, it feels at home. It’s a thoughtful game that encourages careful planning in both the composition of your mech fighting force and the shots you tell them to take, but some design missteps often rob the execution of that planning of much of its potential impact.

Jason Momoa Tells CinemaCon the Best Batman Isn’t Ben Affleck

Jason Momoa was at CinemaCon this week, and the Justice League star broke Ben Affleck’s heart when he told Will Arnett that he is the best Batman.

Warner Bros. debuted footage from James Wan’s upcoming Aquaman film, and Will Arnett was the emcee at the event. Momoa was in attendance with Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. “You are the best f**king Batman,” Momoa told Arnett, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Arnett portrayed the caped crusader in the LEGO Batman movie last year. In our review, we said his “gravelly tones and deadpan delivery are perfect for this reclusive, grumpy incarnation of the character,” with Arnett giving us a Batman that is “vulnerable and still likeable.”
