Fight Robots in Generation Zero From Avalanche Studios

Set in 1980s Sweden, Generation Zero sees players taking on hostile robots in an open world.

After Avalanche Studios teased the game yesterday, the company behind Just Cause revealed today that Generation Zero is planned for release in 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The self-published game allows for people to play alone or squad up with up to three friends for co-op.

Generation Zero will also offer a day/night cycle with weather conditions. Avalanche is utilizing the Apex engine for the game and promising that players can “lure, cripple, or destroy” the robot enemies. There seems to be some sort of loot mechanic in the game as well.
