State of Decay 2 Surpasses 2 Million Players

State of Decay 2 continues to see new survivors, as the game has surpassed 2 million players.

Microsoft noted on Xbox Wire that the player count achievement was reached in roughly two weeks. In addition, over 2 billion zombies have now been taken out in State of Decay 2.

But that’s not all. State of Decay 2 has had more than 121,000 community stories completed thus far, showing that it is possible to make it in a zombie apocalypse.

Previously, Microsoft revealed that State of Decay 2 topped 1 million players within the game’s first week. And on Friday, the zombie survival game received a hefty 20GB patch.

DC’s Wonder Woman 2: First Logo Teased, Confirms It’s Set In The ’80s

While the DC universe hasn’t exactly been a complete success so far, the one movie that was both critically praised and a commercial smash was Wonder Woman. It was the biggest grossing movie of last summer, and expectations are high for next year’s sequel. With production on Wonder Woman 2 about to start, producer Geoff Johns has teased a logo for the movie.

Johns took to Facebook to showcase the logo. It reads WW84, with the letters designed with a VHS-style static effect. We’ve known for some time that Wonder Woman 2 will be set in the 1980s, and this suggests that it’ll specifically take place in 1984. Check it out below:

Wonder Woman 2 will see Gal Gadot reprise her role as the Amazonian superhero. Kristin Wiig is set to play the villainous Cheetah, and last month, Game of Thrones and Narcos actor Pedro Pascal was added to the cast. The movie will be directed by Patty Jenkins, who helmed the first movie. Her deal is reportedly in the $7-9 million range, which has set a record for a female director.

Last year, it was reported that the movie will “send Diana against the forces of Soviet Union in the closing days of the Cold War.” In addition, Jenkins has teased that the movie will be a “funny and a great love story [with] a couple new unbelievable characters who I’m so excited about, who are very different than were in the last movie.”

Wonder Woman 2 hits theaters on November 1, 2019.

Free And Cheap PC Games At GOG’s Big Summer Sale

Anyone who wants to save money on PC games is in luck because GOG has kicked off a massive summer sale, with over 1,000 games available for up to 90 percent off. They’re even throwing some free PC games into the mix, some of which are only available for a limited time. The sale runs between now and June 18 and, as always with GOG, the games are DRM-free.

Spend $20, and you’ll unlock Rime, a game of puzzle-solving and exploration that takes place on a mysterious island.

Once you start looking around the sale page, you’ll find plenty of discounted games to help you unlock those freebies. Lots of CRPGs are on sale, including newer ones like Divinity: Original Sin 2 ($36) and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire ($45). Xbox One Reportedly Getting Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant Support

Microsoft is reportedly looking to add Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant functionality to Xbox One.

Windows Central received a photo showing digital assistant support for Xbox One. And this is on top of the site hearing from sources that Microsoft was bringing Alexa compatibility to the console.

While Xbox One does feature Cortana, Microsoft discontinued Kinect last year. And then earlier this year, the company stopped production on the Kinect adapter for Xbox One S and X. So Alexa and Google Assistant functionality would offer more options for voice controls on Xbox One.
