PT Hack Reveals Terrifying Unused Secret

YouTuber Lance McDonald is arguably the internet’s greatest P.T. detective, but their last discovery from Hideo Kojima’s Playable Teaser for Silent Hills might be the creepiest yet. An unused version of P.T.’s bathroom area may hint at just how far P.T. could have gone to scare players.

Spoilers Ahead

In P.T. players are trapped in an unassuming home, forced to make laps around the same hallway over and over again. After a while, players can gain access to another part of the hallway, the bathroom. As McDonald explains in his YouTube video, there are two “states” the bathroom can be found in, a version where the bathtub is partially filled with water, and a version where the bathtub is empty.

New Star Wars Toy Reveals Key Detail for Mandalorian Character

Potential light spoilers for The Mandalorian ahead.

During the Triple Force Friday preview, it was revealed that Gina Carano’s character in The Mandalorian, Cara Dune, would be receiving a Funko Pop!. While that in itself is not that surprising, what was surprising was the Rebel Alliance Starbird tattoo that appears on her left cheek.

When we first learned about Cara Dune’s past, it was announced that she was an ex-Rebel Alliance shock trooper who is having a tough time returning to civilian life after the Galactic Civil War came to an end.

The Last of Us Part 2 Director on How Dogs Fill Combat With Tough Choices

The Last of Us Part 2 introduces several new mechanics and ideas to its combat system, perhaps most notably the inclusion of vicious attack dogs who have no qualms about hunting down Ellie. The question, for the player, then becomes, will you kill these dogs to survive?

Speaking to IGN at a recent The Last of Us Part 2 hands-on event, creative director Neil Druckmann told IGN about how the dogs add another level of morally difficult choice to combat.

“Dogs are…interesting in that…it feels pretty messed up to kill a dog, especially when you hear it yelp,” Druckmann said. “You’re left with this situation where, ‘OK do I want to ghost this whole setup,’ which, you don’t have to kill a single dog in this scenario

Creepshow Flashback: The Best (and Worst) of the ’80s Horror Movies

With the ’80s Creepshow horror anthology movie franchise being revived as a series by The Walking Dead’s Greg Nicotero – premiering Thursday, September 26 on Shudder – it’s the perfect time to revisit the two films in order to find out what made them such madcap macabre classics. (Read our review of Shudder’s Creepshow premiere here.)

Firstly, what was Creepshow? How did it differ from other ’80s-era scary story sagas like Tales From the Darkside and Tales From the Crypt? Well, to start with, all of these are based on the EC horror comics scene that rose up post-WW II and saw a huge boom in the ’50s and ’60s. Tales from the Crypt, complete with the CryptKeeper host character, was a comic book. An adaptation of Tales from the Crypt featuring a bunch of famous stars, directors, and producers became one of HBO’s first original scripted series in 1989.

Is Brie Larson Teasing She’s in Kevin Feige’s Star Wars Movie?

Brie Larson’s latest Tweet has caused a potential disturbance in the Force, as the Captain Marvel star posted a picture of her in full Jedi garb alongside C-3PO, saying “Did someone say Star Wars?!”

Evil: Series Premiere Review

Every so often, CBS will attempt to draw outside the lines a little bit. To branch out a smidge beyond their primetime “crimetime” adventure procedurals. This season, they’re placing all their supernatural eggs in a basket called Evil – a new “in the vein of X-Files” series from Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King.

Whereas The X-Files was all about UFOs, little green men, and whether or not they existed, Evil asks the same question of demons. It’s faith-based monsters our team is tracking here, headed by the sublimely confused David Acosta, played by Luke Cage’s Mike Colter. David works for the Catholic Church as an assessor of sorts. He interviews murderers, especially those who claim to have been controlled by dark forces from Hell, to determine which cases are phony and which require an exorcism house call.
