A new Fire Emblem: Three Houses update is now live. Alongside the patch, Nintendo has released the game’s second wave of Expansion Pass DLC, and it includes new outfits for protagonist Byleth and other characters, additional auxiliary battles, and more.

First, Expansion Pass holders can change Byleth and the students into new loungewear based on their respective houses, while Byleth also receives an additional accessory: glasses. You can take a look at the new outfits below. However, Nintendo notes the loungewear is “only wearable inside the monastery, or for specific unit classes during battle.”

In addition to the outfits, Nintendo has added a handful of new auxiliary battles to take on. There are five new battles in total, and they may reward you with special status-up items such as Ailell Pomegranate and more Gold. You can see the full list of new auxiliary battles below:

• Battle at Lake Teutates
• Battle in the Forest
• Battle at Gronder Field
• Battle at the Sealed Forest
• Battle at Conand Tower.

Finally, Expansion Pass holders have received another pack of helpful DLC Supplies. You can receive the following items from the bed in Byleth’s personal quarters:

• Sacred Galewind Shoes (Movement +1)
• Sacred Floral Robe (HP +7)
• Sacred Snowmelt Drop (Strength +3)
• Sacred Moonstone (Speed +3)

This marks the second wave of DLC Nintendo has released for Fire Emblem: Three Houses since its launch this past July. The company still has two more waves of additional content in store for the game. The next is slated to arrive sometime by the end of the year, and it will add new quests and costumes to the game. The fourth wave, meanwhile, will launch by April 30, 2020 and is introducing new story content, including additional playable characters and locations.

All four waves of DLC are only available as part of Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ Expansion Pass and cannot be purchased individually. The pass runs for $25 USD / £22.49 / $37.50 AU. You can read more details about it on Nintendo’s website.

Beyond the new DLC, the new Fire Emblem: Three Houses update adds a new, more challenging difficulty mode for all players: Maddening. It also makes a few other changes to the game; you can read the full patch notes for Three Houses’ latest update here.

While Tokyo Game Show kicks off tomorrow at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, a trailer for Nioh 2 found its way out into the wild. The trailer for the PlayStation 4 exclusive has been taken down, but a mirror was uploaded to a separate YouTube channel.

Boss Fight Database snagged the trailer before it was pulled. The Nioh 2 trailer oscillates between cinematic cutscenes featuring war scenarios and dramatic conversations, and gameplay sequences showing various samurai getting pummeled by a plethora of big and frightening-looking enemies.

Sony has outlined its plans for this year’s TGS, which runs until Monday, September 15. Alongside 80 minutes of Death Stranding footage, the PlayStation booth will have playable demos of games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Nioh 2, and more. We’ve also gotten a glimpse of Final Fantasy VII Remake in a new TGS trailer.

Developer Team Ninja unveiled Nioh 2 at E3 2018. Some PlayStation 4 owners were invited to play an alpha version of the game earlier this year. Though the game has no official release date, the new leaked trailer indicates that Nioh 2 is expected to arrive on PS4 sometime in early 2020.

Fortnite‘s new update, version 10.30, is out now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile, and it’s as content-heavy as we’ve come to expect. A new Rift Zone has appeared, another has brought back an old location, and there are all the usual tweaks to weapon vaulting–check out all the patch notes below.

The new area is called Moisty Palms, a swampy area in which you can disguise yourself as a prop by simply crouching. Take a look at the video below to see what we mean–it looks like chaos, in a good way.

An old location also returns via a Rift Zone. Greasy Grove appears to much the same as before, but Epic has hinted at one change by saying, “The neighborhood’s favorite food is now tacos. The tacos here are so good that even their smell makes people party!” Raining tacos will cause players to dance uncontrollably, during which time you’ll be impervious to damage and will recover health at 20 HP per second.

This week’s new LTM is named Knock Town, a solo mode where players “use the grappler to jump around and dodge shots as you one-tap enemies in the air with the Flint-Knock Pistol.”

In terms of weapon changes, the Burst SMG has been vaulted, meaning it will no longer be available in-game. However, the Tactical SMG has been unvaulted, so fans of Fortnite’s sub-machine guns will have something to entertain them. Separate to the new update, Epic states it is testing a new form of Item Shop voting. The system allows players to vote on what items they’d like to see return to the store, so if you missed that cool-looking skin, you might be in luck.

• Resolved an issue in which the Zapper Trap would not build properly when thrown on slopes or uneven terrain.
• B.R.U.T.E.s will now be launched away if they touch the Floating Island’s Cube.
• The B.R.U.T.E.’s Stomp attacks now deal consistent damage to other vehicles.
  • Previously, they would deal either double or triple damage to other vehicles.

Gameplay

• Mosty Palms
  • The Rift Beacon at Paradise Palms has created this new POI! In addition to its swampy nature, this Rift Zone is known for being a good place to keep a low profile.
    • While in the Rift Zone, crouching will disguise players as a random prop. They can exit the prop state by using the Primary Fire button.
      • Players are still able to take damage while in prop form.
    • ADS lets players lock in place and look around for unsuspecting victims.

• Greasy Grove
  • A Rift Zone has brought back Greasy Grove! But this time, Durrr Burger is out, and Tacos are in!
  • Periodically, Spicy Tacos will rain down from the sky. Their smell is so overwhelmingly appetizing that players in the Zone can’t help but dance!
    • While dancing, players are invulnerable to damage from others and will regenerate health at 20 HP per second.
      • Dancing does not block Storm Damage or regenerate Health in the Storm.
  • Spicy Tacos can be consumed for 10 Effective Health (sum of a player’s Health + Shield) and a temporary increase in movement speed (40% increase for 20 seconds).
    • The Spicy Tacos don’t last long — grab them before they expire!

• Community Choice
  • Players will get to vote on what’s featured in the Item Shop!

Bug Fixes

• POIs no longer load at different distances depending on the angle of approach.

• The Flowerprint wrap no longer appears incorrectly on assault and sniper rifles.

Audio

• Lowered the volume of the open and close sounds of teammates’ Gliders by 50%.

UI

Bug Fixes

• Sending feedback during a replay no longer causes players to get stuck in the Player Reporting or Feedback menu.
• Eliminating another player using a Junk Rift Triceratops will now indicate that they were sent to the Cretaceous period in the elimination feed.
  • Previously, the elimination feed would say that they were sent to the Jurassic period, but Triceratops only existed during the Cretaceous period. We apologize for this Tyrannosaurus Wreck of an oversight.

Replay

• Resolved an issue in which mouse controls would not function properly in some replays.
• Going near ammo no longer causes the “Can’t hold more of this item!” message to appear when this action is shown in replays.

Mobile

• New Settings
  • Building and Editing
    • Players can now adjust the touch sensitivity settings for both building and editing.
  • Toggle Targeting
    • Sets targeting to be an on/off toggle or a hold.
      • Turning this setting off will require players to hold the ADS to aim.
        • The setting is turned on by default.
    • Toggle Aim setting now includes touch as well as controllers on mobile.
  • Edit Confirm On Release
    • This setting will allow players to confirm an edit anytime they release their edit selection.
  • Touch Acceleration multiplier
    • A value of 1 will have full touch look acceleration, and a value of 0 will have no touch look acceleration.
    • This is is not synonymous with sensitivity. Lower values do not necessarily translate to slower look speeds.

Final Fantasy 7 is known for its epic scope and groundbreaking cutscenes, but it was just as notable for its zany sense of humor and oddball touches. The upcoming remake has shown plenty of the grandiose scale and sky-high production values, but the latest trailer makes sure we know that it’s still pretty weird too.

The new trailer out of the Tokyo Game Show provides off lots of story detail, including the debut of the villainous Turks. But if you’re watching closely, it also confirms that the squatting mini-game is back at 1:34. It comes as part of a montage of gameplay including Cloud throwing darts and Tifa doing chin-ups, and it looks as if the timing-based gameplay aspect has been fleshed out a bit more to boot. The squatting mini-game became something of a joke throughout the FF7 spin-offs, and even made an appearance in Crisis Core.

Squatting and chin-ups aren’t the only strange touches coming back for the remake. The lecherous Don Corneo is also spotted in the new trailer. The original implied that the character frequents a brothel and abuses girls, so it’s been an open question how Square Enix would handle him in the remake. By all appearances he looks to be his same old creepy self.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming on March 3, 2020 on two Blu-ray discs. Square Enix is producing a $330 collector’s edition. with a Steelbook case, soundtrack, art book, and Cloud Strife statue from Play Arts.

Batman and Catwoman’s engagement may have ended in disaster, but that’s far from the end of their story.

Batman #50 has proven to be one of the most controversial chapters of the series, as fans were promised a big wedding between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, only for Selina to leave her man at the altar. As we later learned, that was the beginning of Batman’s downward spiral and a key piece of Bane’s complex revenge plot.

But though that wedding wasn’t to be, the Bat/Cat alliance still survives. Bruce has turned to his ex-fiancee for help as he tried to recover from his recent ordeals and get back in fighting shape before confronting Bane again. As this issue shows, that involves wearing a fake mustache and soaking up some tropical sun.

A new trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake has debuted at Tokyo Game Show, and it provides the first sights and sounds of several beloved characters. As promised, the new trailer shows off the Turks–the Shinra enforcers who serve as major antagonists in the game. We get to see Reno, Rude, and Tseng in the trailer, along with a few other surprises.

Each of the Turks gets a speaking part, so you can hear their new voice acting. We also get a brief glimpse of the corrupt and lecherous Don Corneo, just after Aerith is spotted in the red dress she wears as part of the gang’s plan to interrogate him. We also hear more of the voices from several key characters, and even get a hint that the squatting mini-game is coming back in the remake.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake won an E3 Best of Show Award from game critics, and Square Enix recently debuted a remake of its iconic cover artwork to mark its anniversary.

The remake is coming on March 3, 2020. And though it’s only the first part of the game, it will still span two Blu-ray discs. For fans of the classic RPG, Square Enix is putting out a $330 Final Fantasy 7 Remake collector’s edition.
