The Evolution Championship Series 2020 games lineup has been announced and it includes a surprise from the past.

The lineup was announced live on Twitter along with the dates that the world’s biggest fighting game tournament will be held this year. Evo 2020 will be between July 31 and August 2nd, 2020.

As to the lineup, it includes many of the fighting games the tournament usually hosts. But a special surprise this year is the return of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, which will be in the lineup to celebrate the game’s 20th anniversary.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will have a “20urnament of champions,” which will be an eight-player invitational tournament featuring the game’s best players of all-time. The last time Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was included in the lineup was Evo 2010, when it was won by Justin Wong, securing his seventh tournament win with the game.

As you can see, two fighting games not included in this year’s lineup after being part of Evo 2019 are BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle and Mortal Kombat 11.

If you want to relive the action of Evo 2019, you’re in luck, as we have all the results of last year’s tournament with many of the highlights available to watch. Once you’re, you better get to nailing those combos.

Vin Diesel has hinted that Fast and Furious 10 could be split into two parts, potentially marking the conclusion of the Fast saga.

In an interview with Total Film, Diesel discussed the expanding universe of the blockbuster franchise, as he teased that the movie that follows F9 will be a two-part instalment, making those the final films in the “last trilogy to end the saga.”

“I started planning for Fast 10 before we started filming Fast 9. Very much so,” Diesel explained. “The universe is so robust and so rich with talent and rich with story that, on one level, it’s totally feasible to have spinoffs, and I think that’s something that is inevitable. Universal deserves it because of how much they’ve invested in this little saga, and it’d be good to give back to Universal. And for the fans, should Fast 10 parts one and two be the conclusion, it would be nice for this world to continue for generations to come.”

The long-running Fast and Furious franchise has certainly put in some mileage over the years. The first film raced off the starting line in 2001, launching a trilogy of high-octane action movies, before undergoing a soft reboot and starting another new film series with the release of Fast & Furious in 2009. Universal later expanded the saga to include the spin-off film Hobbs & Shaw, fronted by Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.

F9, a sequel to 2017’s The Fate of the Furious, will be the ninth instalment in the main franchise. The upcoming film will bring back stars Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, and Helen Mirren. In addition, John Cena will also be making his Fast & Furious debut, alongside Guardians of the Galaxy’s Michael Rooker.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons may not let you transfer your save data from one Nintendo Switch console to another.

That’s what it apparently says on the back of the game’s German download card, which was recently shared and translated into English in the ResetEra forums.

“The transfer of user- and save data between consoles is not supported by this software,” reads the translation of the download card.

If this is true, that means you won’t be able to take your save game over to a newer Switch console should you buy one. Good to know if you already own a Switch but intend on buying the newly announced Animal Crossing: New Horizons special edition Switch at some point.

You better hope that your Switch doesn’t ever break so you have to buy a new one too, either. Especially as it was confirmed last year in an interview with Gamekult that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will not support cloud saves in order to stop people manipulating time to their advantage within the game.

The German download card also contains the second mention of Animal Crossing: New Horizons only allowing one island per console. The first mention of it was spotted on the Nintendo Australia webpage for the game.

“Up to 8 players registered as users on a Nintendo Switch console can live on one shared island, and up to four residents of one island can play simultaneously on one console,” reads the game’s description.

“Please note: only one island can exist per Nintendo Switch console, irrespective of the number of users registered to or copies of the game used on one console. One Nintendo Switch and one copy of the game is required for each unique island.”

Only having one island may not seem that much different to Animal Crossing: New Leaf. However, New Leaf saved the game on the 3DS cartridge, meaning you could move it around. You won’t be able to do that with New Horizons as the game is saved on the console’s internal storage – something you can’t remove so easily.

Still, as we found out in our Animal Crossing: New Horizons multiplayer interview, at least you’ll be able to invite eight friends to your island via local wireless or online play – up from the four-player limit of New Leaf.

Hopefully we’ll hear confirmation on this news before Animal Crossing: New Horizons launches on March 20, 2020.

Season 4: Assimilation is live in Apex Legends, putting an end to Year 1 and launching the battle royale game into Year 2. The new season adds a bunch of content to the game, including new playable character Revenant and the new Sentinel sniper rifle. It also makes numerous changes to how the battle royale works too, with most of the adjustments aimed at weapons. One weapon, in particular, seems to be screwed more than most: the Havoc.

The Havoc assault rifle was Apex Legends’ first new weapon, added to the game before the start of Season 1: Wild Frontier. An energy weapon, the Havoc set itself apart by being the only firearm to support two different hop-up attachments: the Select Fire and Turbocharger. With Select Fire equipped, the Havoc could change between an assault rifle and a sniper. Meanwhile, the Turbocharger removed the Havoc’s windup time, allowing you to quickly dispatch opponents at close- to mid-range with the gun’s overwhelming bullet output.

However, Season 4 removes the Turbocharger attachment from Apex Legends–much how Season 3: Meltdown removed Skullpiercer and Disruptor Ammo (and no, sadly, Season 4 does not bring either of those two back). The Havoc and Devotion were the only two Apex Legends weapons that supported Turbocharger, though the Devotion isn’t affected by the change. The Devotion and L-Star have been switched (the L-Star is now a standard energy weapon that can be found anywhere and the Devotion is now a golden energy weapon found in Care Packages) so the Devotion comes with a Turbocharger already. The Havoc is not as lucky.

This sucks for the Havoc in two ways. For one, the gun is no longer unique–the core of its identity was that it could transform in two different ways. And second, the Havoc’s default fire isn’t all that good. It needs a Turbocharger to be competent in the late-game. To make up for the nerf, Respawn has buffed the Havoc in other ways (most notably, reducing the horizontal recoil).

These changes should make the Havoc easier to control, but it remains to be seen whether this is enough to keep people going back to the energy assault rifle. If you want a long-range energy weapon, the Triple Take is a better option. Likewise, now that it’s a common gun that you can loot anywhere, the L-Star makes for a stronger close-range option. It’s difficult to discern where the new Havoc is now supposed to fit into Apex Legends’ meta.

Battlefield 5‘s big new update, Into the Jungle, has arrived–a bit ahead of schedule. The free expansion’s biggest and most notable addition is the huge new map, Solomon Islands. It’s now been discovered that this map contains a deadly surprise–a crocodile lurking in the water.

A new video from Battlefield content creator Westie shows off this crocodile–and as you might have guessed, it bites! This croc will probably kill you if you don’t swim away fast enough, as it appears to do 35 damage when it bites.

The crocodile isn’t the first underwater animal threat in Battlefield 5, as the game also features sharks in some of its waters. Previous games featured even bigger creatures, including a Megalodon easter egg.

The Solomon Islands map isn’t the only part of Into the Jungle that went live early. The M2 Carbine rifle and the Model 37 shotgun also dropped in ahead of schedule. Instead of removing them, DICE has decided to not only keep them in the game but make them instantly unlocked for all players. They will become default weapons, so you will find them in your loadout menu the next time you log in.

Also now available in Battlefield V are two new gadgets–the M1A1 Bazooka and the Lunge Mine–and a new Elite character, Misaki Yamashiro. For more, check out the full patch notes on EA’s website.
