Humble Monthly Bundles refresh every month – but you keep the games forever.

This month’s Humble Monthly Bundle is one of the best we’ve seen. You’re getting not one, not two, but three big titles for the PC as well as a story DLC for one of the games. The definite highlight here is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which scored an “Amazing” 9.2/10 here at IGN, but the other inclusions are nothing to scoff at. The full collection includes:

The Week’s Best Deals At GameStop In The US

GameStop always has deals going, and this week is no different. A handful of big franchises are on sale for substantial discounts. Some of the biggest price cuts are on 2K games. Specifically, you can get WWE 2K18 and NBA 2K18 for half off, or $30 each.

In his WWE 2K18 review, GameSpot’s Richard Wakeling wasn’t overly thrilled with the quality of the game, giving it a 5/10. He wrote: “WWE 2K18’s in-ring combat is fundamentally flawed, and will be as divisive as it often is. Yet there’s no denying the inherent joy derived from performing your favorite Superstar’s signature moves.” But with Wrestlemania 34 around the corner, you may want to try your hand at the Undertaker-John Cena match.

Our NBA 2K18 review was more favorable, with Seth Macy scoring it 8/10. He wrote, “This year’s entry is incredible in so many ways, from graphics, to soundtrack, to the different modes and ways to play hoops. It becomes clear early on that the fastest and easiest way to progress is by spending real money, slightly marring an otherwise tremendous experience.”

This week you can save on The Sims 4 and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which currently cost $30 each. Also on sale are Madden NFL 18, NHL 18, UFC 3, and Call of Duty: WWII, all of which cost $40 instead of their usual $60.

GameStop is running a Lego game promotion for Powerup Rewards members this week. If you buy a select new Lego game (Lego City Undercover, Lego Worlds, Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, or Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game), you get $10 off the purchase of your next Lego game.

If you’re looking to leave the real world, GameStop has PlayStation VR and Vive headsets at their new permanent prices, which are $100 less than they used to be (not a GameStop-exclusive deal). PlayStation VR The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Bundle now costs $350 and comes with the camera and two Move controllers. If you already have a PS4 camera, you could get the basic PSVR headset package for $200. PC owners may be interested in a Vive headset, which is now available for $500.

In pre-owned game news, if you find four used games you want for under $5 each, you can scoop them all up for $10. And don’t forget you can still save big on Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Collector’s Edition ($35 instead of $100). And if you’re looking to upgrade your Xbox One or PS4, you’ll get bonus trade-in value for your consoles through April 15.

Some links to supporting retailers are automatically made into affiliate links, and GameSpot may receive a small share of those sales.

Know Your Captain Marvel from Your Captain Mar-Vell

We haven’t even seen Avengers: Infinity War yet, but everyone is already getting hyped for the post-Infinity War status quo of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one that will include Brie Larson as Captain Marvel in a solo film that’s shooting even now and will hit theaters March 8, 2019. And then there’s DC’s Captain Marvel, who usually goes by the name Shazam these days. He’s getting his own movie as well. And that’s just the beginning of the Captain Marvels…

So with two different movies based on these characters in the works, now would seem to be a good time to take a look at the many people that have used the Captain Marvel moniker over the years. Confused yet? No? Let’s begin anyway!

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Releases This Month

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is coming on April 25 to iOS and Android. Developer Jam City announced the release date today, along with word that various actors reprise their Hogwarts film roles for voice work in the game.

Those voices include Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore), Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Sally Mortemore (Madam Irma Pince), Gemma Jones (Madam Pomfrey), and Zoe Wanamaker (Madam Hooch).

Hogwarts Mystery is set in the 1980s, after Voldemort has been (kind of) vanquished but before Harry Potter starts attending. That means we’re unlikely to see kids from the Potter days appear in the game, as well as professors who joined later in the series. The idea is to give players their own Hogwarts experience without tying it to the events of the books and films. Players can create their own student, pick one of the four houses, go to classes to learn magic, and make branching story decisions.

This is one of two announced Harry Potter mobile games. The other, Wizards Unite, is being developed by Niantic, the studio responsible for Pokemon Go. Like that game, it will have you exploring the real world to collect power-ups and defend key points. Warner Bros. has teased yet another Potter game for consoles, but no announcement has been made.

Spyro Remaster Comparison Screenshots Show Off Graphical Improvements

After rumors and leaks, Activision has finally confirmed a remastered version of the original three Spyro the Dragon games is coming. Among the improvements that Spyro Reignited Trilogy boasts are improved graphics, and along with a trailer, we’ve gotten some comparison screenshots that serve to highlight just how much better this new version looks.

Activision’s announcement states the Trilogy features “scaled-up HD graphics” where the more than 100 levels have been “mapped faithfully from the originals, only now re-imagined with modern mechanics to give fans an excellent gaming experience.” In terms of visuals, this is described as a “completely remastered” collection with “re-imagined cast of characters, brand-new lighting, animations, environments, and recreated cinematics.”

You can see for yourself in the images below just what that translates into. Spyro himself is much more detailed, but it’s the improvements to the environments themselves that stand out the most. It looks to be a major upgrade. You can also check out the announcement trailer above.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy releases for PS4 and Xbox One on September 21. That roughly coincides with the original release of the first Spyro, which debuted back in 1998. It consists of that original game, Spyro the Dragon, along with its two follow-ups: Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage (Gateway to Glimmer in Europe and Australia) and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy Collection Announced, Release Date Revealed

After months of rumors, and a week of teases, Spyro the Dragon is officially back, and he’s returning in time for the purple dragon’s 20th anniversary.

Activision announced today the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, developed by Skylanders devs Toys for Bob. The trilogy will include Spyro’s three original PS1 outings — Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon — with new, remastered graphics, sound, available on the PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X on September 21.

Check out the debut trailer here:

Rainbow Six Siege Dev Cracking Down on Toxicity

Which Wrestlemania 34 Match Will Be WWE’s Main Event?

There’s a great Colt Cabana podcast interview with CM Punk where he discusses an argument he had with Triple H. After hearing that Punk was upset about not main eventing Wrestlemania 29, Triple H told Punk that he was in a main event with the Undertaker. Punk retorted by asking if he was getting paid the same amount as The Rock or John Cena. Triple H didn’t have a comeback for that.

The guy had a point. Marketing is one thing, but for all functional purposes, there is only one main event, and that’s the match which goes on last. Which leads one to ask: “Which of the matches on the card will main event Wrestlemania 34?”

It doesn’t matter from a practical standpoint; this isn’t boxing or MMA, where the fans with tickets find their seats ten minutes before the main event. WWE fans, both on the Network and at the Superdome, will be their seats to watch the whole show. But it does matter from a standpoint of principles. CM Punk considered his WWE career a failure because he never got to main event Wrestlemania. Reportedly, Vince McMahon put Mick Foley in the main event for Wrestlemania 2000 because he felt so bad for not having done so earlier.

The main event also demonstrates the company’s values: who is Vince McMahon relying on to headline and represent his product? For example, when WWE decided to close the Royal Rumble with the women’s battle royal in January, it was a massive deal. It put all the company’s lip service about the Women’s Evolution into action.

Here are the five matches that are most likely to main event Wrestlemania 34 and our opinion and analysis of each choice. Also, check out the updated match card and all of our predictions for April 8.
