Episode 10 of American Horror Story ‘Hotel’ picks up where the last episode left off, a handful of characters still looking to get their revenge. And at least one of them succeeds… at least that’s what we think. “She Gets Revenge” brings Liz one step closer to redemption and features a stunning performance from AHS great Dennis O’Hare. Let’s be honest, the team-up of Liz and Iris on their revenge-tour is always welcomed.
Meanwhile, The Countess (Lady Gaga) gets some horrifying news about her love Rudolph Valentino and some shocking news that Will Drake won’t be leaving anytime soon. Remember, he’s now a ghost trapped inside Hotel Cortez. Speaking of Drake, you’ll want to stay for the episode’s ending to catch a slow-motion shootout set to ‘Hotline Bling.’ Yes, you read that correctly.

THR notes there are currently three Star Trek movies in the works at Paramount, including Hawley’s project, Quentin Tarantino’s R-rated Trek movie and a direct sequel to 2016’s Star Trek Beyond. However, the studio’s new motion picture group president Emma Watts is “re-assessing” upcoming projects, with the Hawley movie being one apparent casualty of that process.
[widget path=”global/article/imagegallery” parameters=”albumSlug=star-trek-discovery-virtual-table-read-storyboards-visual-effects-and-more&captions=true”]
Interestingly, the COVID-19 pandemic may be a significant factor in the decision to pivot away from the Hawley project. Not because of cost or logistical concerns, but because the plot may hit a little too close to home in 2020. The movie reportedly revolves around a devastating virus that wipes out a significant portion of life in the Trek-verse.
Hawley previously spoke about his Star Trek movie in an interview with Deadline in 2020, indicating he hoped to move forward with the movie after wrapping work on Fargo: Season 4. He also hinted that it would revolve around a new cast rather than bringing back Chris Pine’s Captain Kirk and the rest of the Kelvin Timeline Enterprise crew.
Hawley told Deadline, “There’s nothing better than that moment when William Shatner puts on his reading glasses and lowers Khan’s shields. It doesn’t cost anything. But it’s that triumphant feeling about smarting your enemy. For me it’s about to getting to those elements of the show. I don’t necessarily find action in and of itself interesting unless it’s story. So, it’s early days, I’m still talking with Paramount and I have a take and I gotta write a script.”
Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be the first time Hawley has become attached to a major Hollywood property, only for that project to be shelved. Hawley previously penned a script for a solo Doctor Doom movie, but that project appears to have been canceled in the wake of the Disney/Fox merger.

The good news is that fans have plenty of new Trek content to look forward to in the TV realm. Star Trek Discovery: Season 3 is premiering on CBS All Access on October 15, while the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks is off to a strong start. A second animated series dubbed Star Trek: Prodigy will debut on Nickelodeon in 2021.

In Pikmin 3 Deluxe, you play as a trio of aliens who have landed on a mysterious planet that looks a good deal like Earth. But unlike our blue orb, this planet is populated by tiny helpful creatures called pikmin. It’s also home to vicious alien predators that enjoy gobbling up your colorful new friends.
Your job is to accompany the pikmin and explore the planet in search of food, all while solving environmental puzzles and fending off predators. Everything you do requires you to send pikmin to do it, so they’ll bring food back to your ship and fight enemies for you, no matter how overmatched they seem. You’ll just want to make sure to send the right kind of pikmin for the task.

New to the Deluxe version is a two-player co-op mode, additional side missions, and a handful of difficulty settings to make things easier in a variety of ways. It also includes all of the DLC released for the original.

With coronavirus raging and a bona fide live game hit on its hands, it seemed likely Activision would drop teasers for its next Call of Duty game within the structure of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. Now it appears that’s happening, as a mysterious new message introduced in Season 5 looks like something out of Black Ops.
Players are randomly receiving blurry, glitched messages saying “Know Your History.” GameSpot confirmed the message during a Warzone session, but it appears so quickly you could easily miss it. Another part of the glitched message appeared to show a message in Russian.

The allusion to history could be a reference to the rumored Black Ops: Cold War. That would set it in a historical context, and Black Ops is known for its mind-bending plot elements that revolve around false memories and other light sci-fi elements.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty fansite Charlie Intel received a package with a note not to open it until August 10. That could give us some indication of when to expect an official announcement.
Reports that the new Call of Duty would be a Black Ops game have circulated for quite a while, but without an E3 this year, Activision has been quiet about its plans for longer than usual. That may finally be changing soon.

Nintendo is recruiting level designers to make 2D action games, according to Nintendo Life. Nintendo tweeted out a job listing on it’s Japanese account, which links to a job asking for applicants with experience creating “specifications for objects placed in game courses.” The potential hire would work in the Nintendo Tokyo office.
The image shows screenshots from Yoshi’s Crafted World, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, and Super Mario Maker 2. Nintendo does not have very many games that are currently announced, limited to Metroid Prime 4, Pikmin 3 Deluxe, and a Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel. There have been rumors of the 3D Mario games getting remastered, but that has not been confirmed by Nintendo.
The job listing could be for a new entry in one Nintendo’s existing IPs or a brand new game all together. There is a job listing for a 3D level designer on the same page as well, so Nintendo is looking to release both styles of titles at some point in the future.

Though each round is different and may require different tactics to qualify, there are a couple universal tips you should always try to keep in mind:
[ignvideo url=”https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/07/fall-guys-18-crucial-tips-and-tricks-to-help-you-win”]
Check out even more tips and strategies to help win yourself a crown in the video above!

Dizzy Heights is often one of the first rounds you’ll compete in during an episode, and because of this you’ll often have to push ahead of large crowds of other players through the spinning platforms and ball obstacles.

Hit Parade is also one of the more likely rounds you’ll encounter at the start of an episode, and is designed to weed out the unworthy with a deluge of obstacles and perilous jumps – though you won’t be able to fall to a permanent end.

See Saw is another early round you may take part in where large crowds can either make or break your race to the finish across incredibly oversized tilting platforms.

A true game show challenge, Door Dash will pit you against a gauntlet of identical-looking doors, and trick you into colliding with fake doors or funneling you into the real ones to create some huge traffic jams.

Gate Crash is the other side of the coin to Door Dash, and features a long course of raising and falling gates you’ll need to cross over at the right time.

The Whirlygig is another front-runner for a likely first round, and its deceptively simple race will likely weed out a lot of contestants quickly unless you know what to do.

The Slime Climb is a deceptive race that’s more about survival than anything else, as you try to keep ahead of the rising tide of goo below you.

The Fruit Chute is pure chaos distilled into its simplest form: A running gauntlet against hordes of giant delicious bouncing projectiles.

Roll Out perfectly encapsulates the classic log rolling survival game with the added bonus of large gaps and barriers to keep you on your toes.

Block Party will show you the hole in the wall, and have you constantly dashing back and forth to escape certain doom and race down the clock.

One of the more subdued rounds, Perfect Match is all about stepping on the right panel to match the fruit displayed before the other panels disappear.

Both a team and solo sport, you’ll need to wrestle away the limited quantities of tails for yourself and have it on when time runs out.

A Rock ’em Sock ’em Soccer match, Fall Ball will pit two teams to score as many goals from two giant soccer balls on the field at a time.

Another team-based and ball-centric round, Rock ‘N’ Roll will see which team can shove a ball down a hole first.

Egg Scramble is when Hungry Hungry Hippos meets chicken eggs – and lot of angry flailing bean boys trying to hoard them in their team’s hole.

Hoarders is a lot like Egg Scramble, except the eggs are giant volleyballs, and there’s not a lot of room to keep them safe from other teams.

A tricky team battle, Hoopsie Daisy will require you and your crew to jump, hop, and dive through more floating hoops than the other teams to win.

Jinxed is an ultimate form of zombie tag – avoid the infected, unless you’ve become one – in which case, tag all of the opposing team first to win!

To pass the Tip Toe challenge, you must walk the true path – and find it before the rest of your competitors do or fall to your doom.

Like a classic Mario Party mini-game, Jump Club will have you hopping for your life to survive a grueling gauntlet of avoiding spinning logs as they get faster and faster.

One of the three finales, Fall Mountain is a simple race to the finish to see who can avoid the torrent of hazards to grab the floating crown at the top.

Another of the finales, Hex-A-Gone is the ultimate cross-section of strategy and pure chaos as you try to outlast your rivals on tiers of disappearing platforms.
And there you have it – over 100 tips, tricks, and tactics for surviving every round of Fall Guys. It’s important to remember our first tip – even if you do everything right, chaos can still reign supreme, so don’t feel bad if you don’t win the crown, maybe next time chaos will favor you instead!

In June, Beahm was mysteriously banned from Twitch. Neither Beahm nor Twitch divulged the reason for the ban, and Beahm maintains that he doesn’t know why he was banned from the platform in the first place.
[widget path=”global/article/imagegallery” parameters=”albumSlug=every-ign-call-of-duty-review&captions=true”]
After months of silence, aside from a handful of interviews where Beahm expressed interest in returning to streaming, a teaser of sorts premiered on the Dr. Disrespect Instagram account. The teaser suggested Beahm could return to streaming as early as that day, but nothing materialized.
Instead, Beahm premiered his Dr. Disrespect persona on YouTube a day later. IGN has learned that Beahm does not have any exclusive deal with YouTube and plans to “experiment” with other platforms including Facebook Gaming and his own Champions Club website.
Beahm was once banned from Twitch back in 2019 after streaming out of an LA Convention Center bathroom during E3, but that ban was only temporary.

Meanwhile, streaming services like Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube Gaming have begun signing streamers to exclusive contracts. Something Mixer did when it signed Ninja to the platform before the service shut down. Logic recently retired from rapping to stream exclusively on Twitch.
