On the heels of Damon Lindelof’s well-received Watchmen sequel series’ debut on HBO — which pulled in 1.5 million viewers — Lindelof decided to release four pages from the the pilot script he penned, showing us all how the cryptic scene featuring Jeremy Irons, as THAT character, looked on paper.
“I have received a number of queries relating to the interlude from our premiere featuring the tremendous Mr. Irons,” Lindelof posted on Instagram. “The gist of said queries, “Uh… cool… but what the f*** was THAT?” These script pages will shed almost no light, but as you are 24 hours from seeing what The Blonde Man is writing, I thought it only fair to show you a bit of my own.”
