The Top 23 Most Popular Deals of Black Friday 2019

Black Friday is still going on right now, but things are winding down pretty rapidly. In fact, the disappearance of the best Black Friday sale items is doing nothing but accelerating, and that includes many of the most popular items.

We’ve been tracking Black Friday deals for a while now, and the actual savings kicked off last Saturday with the launch of the $199 PS4 Slim bundles at major retailers. Since then, we’ve gathered data on literally millions of pageviews from right here on IGN and put together a list of the biggest and most popular deals of Black Friday 2019.

Titans Season 2 Finale: What That Cliffhanger Means For Season 3

It’s a good thing we already know Titans has been renewed for a third season on DC Universe. The Season 2 finale ended with a cliffhanger that is sure to leave you wondering what happens next. Unfortunately, it’ll be a while before we find out.

Warning: The following contains spoilers for the Season 2 finale of DC Universe’s Titans, “Nightwing.” If you’ve yet to watch the episode and don’t want to be spoiled, look away now.

A lot happened in the final episode of Titans Season 2. Dick (Brenton Thwaites) debuted his new Nightwing persona and costume, Deathstroke (Esai Morales) was killed, Conner (Joshua Orpin) and Gar (Ryan Potter) were freed from the mind control they were under by Project Cadmus, and Donna Troy (Conor Leslie) died while saving Dawn (Minka Kelly). Even with that loss, though, the stage is set for a bigger and more powerful–and united–team of Titans than ever when the series returns. And based on the final seconds of “Nightwing,” a bigger and more Powerful team is going to be necessary.

After a season of hunting Kory (Anna Diop), Blackfire (Damaris Lewis) has finally arrived on Earth. The supervillain is the sister of Kory/Starfire and also the queen of their home planet–Tamaran–after killing their parents. Now she’s hellbent on finding her sister and bringing her back to Tamaran at any cost.

In the comics, Blackfire has powers similar to those of Starfire, and she’s potentially even stronger. And unlike her sister, Blackfire uses her powers for nefarious purposes. Those who remember Season 1 of Titans will recall that Kory was similar at first, as she was sent to Earth to kill Rachel (Teagan Croft). Instead, she’s become a Titans member and counts Rachel as one of her closest allies.

That means Blackfire’s arrival on Earth isn’t just bad news for Kory. Given that she never carried out her ultimate mission–killing Rachel–the young empath is certainly in danger. You’re going to have to wait just to see how much danger she’s in, though. In the meantime, she’s traveled with Donna’s remains to put her to rest. That might keep her safe for the time being.

While Titans has been renewed for Season 3 on DC Universe, there’s been no confirmed premiere date. Chances are you’ll see it in October or September, based on previous season premieres, though.

Death Stranding Universe Explained Part 1

Death Stranding’s universe is so dense that understanding it can be an over encumbering burden in and of itself. But don’t worry, Kurt Indovina is here to carry that weight for you.

Armed with cans of Monster Energy, Kurt bears the enormous, impossible task of making Hideo Kojima’s artistic vision crystal clear. In this video, you’ll learn about Death Stranding’s bleak view of a future America, and how a catastrophic explosion led to its current state–an explosion that pulled a lot of the American population into the afterlife, created a new material called chiralium which disrupted global communication systems, and the supernatural rain known as Timefall.

Kurt also attempts to explain BB’s (Bridge Babies), BT’s (Beached Things), the difference between factions like BRIDGES and MULEs, the Chiral Network, and whether or not you ever actually get to see Norman’s peedus. And he does all this while grappling with his own fragile humanity.

Can Kurt keep it together while untying the knotted umbilical cord that is Death Stranding’s universe? How many Monster Energy drinks will it take for him to grasp the game artistic genius? And will he live another day to make an ending explained video?

IGN UK Podcast #515: New Films, Old Games, and a Worried Phone Call

Dale, Cardy and Joe – the Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci of podcasting – have convened this week to pour praise on The Irishman, pour slightly more cryptic praise on Parasite, check in on Death Stranding and Jedi: Fallen Order, and then talk some Mandalorian spoilers at the very end.

The Endless Search brings back the insanely difficult quote translation game in nicer form, which is fun. Also there’s a touching bit where Joe’s dad call to check if he’s alive. Enjoy.
