Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Joker Challenger Pack DLC Review

If there’s one thing that’s become readily apparent with DLC guest fighters appearing in the Super Smash Bros. series, it’s the unreal amount of care and detail put into making them feel right at home in Nintendo’s fighting game. Persona 5’s Joker is no exception.

The first of the five planned Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Challenger Packs, which are available for $6 individually or $25 for all five, Joker may seem like an odd duck at first, given that his native JRPG isn’t even available on the Switch (for now?). But between the flashy fighting thief and his bombastic stage, the choice is a surprisingly fitting one. And even if you aren’t familiar with Persona 5, its signature slick design is present and eye-catching in almost every aspect of the Joker content.

Star Trek: Discovery Season Finale Review

Full spoilers follow for this episode.

And there you have it: The USS Discovery has disappeared a thousand years into the future, apparently never to be heard from again in the 23rd century. And not just that, but everyone who knew of its true mission into time has agreed to keep it a secret even from Starfleet Command, essentially wiping the ship and her crew from the history books. I guess…?

Look, the Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 finale crams a lot into its running time, and it’s as sloppy as much of the overall season has been, raising as many questions as it answers in its attempts to sync with canon. But like much of this second season, it’s also pretty effective, offering up nice character interplay, crazy visuals and effects, and some “whoa” moments of Star Trek grandeur.

Gotham’s penultimate episode – the storm before the storm, if you will – closed out the series as we know it in preparation for a massive 10-year time jump that will give us both Batman and Joker in next week’s finale. Avengers Endgame: We Decide Who’s Going To Die The Old Fashioned Way

Avengers: Endgame will be in theaters before you know it. And while spoilers from the final film in the Infinity Saga have already been leaked, you’ve hopefully managed to avoid them completely. That all said, though, clearly some Avengers are going to die by the time Endgame comes to a close. Who will bite the dust permanently, though?

At this point, all we can do is speculate. But if you’re going to speculate, you might as well do it with toys. GameSpot’s Chris E. Hayner and Meg Downey got a big box of Avengers: Endgame action figures and Nerf blasters from Hasbro and decided the only way to make a definitive decision about the fates of Earth’s mightiest heroes was by lining them up and taking them out.

Take a look at the video above to see which Avengers we’ll be saying goodbye to. Some of these choices are tough. However, others are less so. Sorry, Hawkeye or Ronin or whatever you’re called now. We simply don’t need you anymore. Good luck on Disney+!

After you’ve seen the video, there’s still plenty more for you to devour from Endgame. Take a look at even more Avengers toys, plus the latest teaser for the movie, and a detailed guide to how you can avoid spoilers at all costs.

Avengers: Endgame is in theaters on April 26.
