Just Cause 4: Flying Across the World of Solís – IGN First

Just Cause has always made its locations as beautiful, no matter how ugly the wars taking place across them might be. Just Cause 4’s Solís is the best example of that yet.

Set across four distinct biomes, the island nation is absolutely gorgeous. So sit back and relax as we take you an airborne tour of the open world (before you cover it in craters).

Nintendo Knows You Want Waluigi In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate features a very full roster of every Smash character ever, along with some new additions. One conspicuously absent member of the roster is Waluigi, the Luigi doppelganger who has featured in several Mario sports games. The fan outcry has been ongoing, and rest assured, Nintendo has heard you.

Speaking to Nintendo of Canada’s Andrew Collins, Okay Cool noted the fan campaign to put Waluigi in the game, including an appearance in the Washington Post. Collins made it clear the company has seen your pleas and passion.

“I think it’s great when something builds naturally because, you know, as a marketer, when you have something that goes viral like that it’s brilliant,” he said. “You can’t buy that. You can’t create it. And when the fans do something like that, it’s amazing. But it’s so good to see from a passionate side of things. And let’s face it, it’s funny. I’ve seen some of the photos. I’ve seen some of the artwork that people have created, and it’s fantastic to see their passion.”

Obviously, this isn’t a promise that Waluigi will actually come to the game, but an acknowledgement from Nintendo that it has seen the response is more than nothing. That may be enough to prompt the company to add him as downloadable content.

Nintendo has already announced the addition of five more fighters are coming as DLC, along with the free Piranha Plant DLC for early purchasers. Each pack will cost $6 and come with one new fighter, one new stage, and a variety of music tracks. They will be available as a bundle for $25, which will also net you an outfit based on Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The roster for these DLC fighters is already set, so if Waluigi is ultimately destined to Smash with the rest of his compatriots, the plans are already in-motion.

The last round of announced characters included Incineroar from Pokemon and Ken from Street Fighter, and you can see them in action here. Smash Bros. Ultimate will hit on December 7. For more details check out our pre-order guide.

Black Ops 4 Down To £30 For Black Friday 2018

Black Friday is still a couple of days away but the discounts are already rolling in. And they’re not just limited to the US, where Thanksgiving and Black Friday is actually celebrated. UK retailers are jumping on the bandwagon and offering discounts to entice would-be shoppers into spending some cash. If you’re in the market for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, high-street retailer John Lewis is selling it for £30, which is the cheapest we’ve seen it.

That price goes for both the PS4 and Xbox One versions. It must be noted, however, that delivery is going to add to the price. The cheapest option is Click & Collect for £2, and will require you to head to a store to pick up the item even if you order it online. Still, £32 is pretty good for the game, considering it’s a very recent release.

Naturally, this deal will only be available while stocks last, and given that John Lewis isn’t a video game specialist don’t be surprised if it’s out of stock relatively quickly, especially at that price.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 earned a 8/10 from GameSpot. In her review, Kallie Plagge said the game’s “three main modes are substantial.” She continued: “Multiplayer introduces more tactical mechanics without forcing you into them, and it largely strikes a good balance. Zombies has multiple deep, secret-filled maps to explore, though its returning characters don’t hold up and prove distracting.

“Finally, Blackout pushes Call of Duty in an entirely new direction, making use of aspects from both multiplayer and Zombies for a take on the battle royale genre that stands on its own. Sure, there isn’t a traditional single-player campaign, but with the depth and breadth of what is there, Black Ops 4 doesn’t need it.” You can read the full Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 review for a more in-depth analysis of it.

Those in the US looking for a deal on Black Ops 4 also have plenty of options, as GameStop, Walmart, Target, and more have already revealed the deals they’re going to have for Black Friday, some of which are live now. Check out our Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Black Friday deals roundup for more details.

Pokemon Go Adds New Gen 4 Legendary, Cresselia, For A Limited Time

Pokemon Go‘s first Gen 4 Legendary, Giratina, may no longer be available in the game, but another rare Pokemon from the Sinnoh region has now taken its place. Cresselia, a Psychic-type Legendary first introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, has begun appearing in Raid Battles around the world, giving players their first chance to capture one for a limited time.

As usual, in order to catch Cresselia, you’ll first need to team up with other players in real life and head to a Gym where a Cresselia Raid is taking place. Once there, you’ll be able to challenge the Legendary Pokemon to a battle; if you manage to successfully defeat it, you’ll earn a handful of Premier Balls and a chance to capture it.

Cresselia will appear as a Raid Battle until December 18, giving you nearly a month to add one to your collection. As mentioned above, it is a pure Psychic-type, making it susceptible to Dark, Bug, and Ghost Pokemon. Tyranitar, Scizor, and Giratina are particularly useful, but you’ll need to bring along a powerful team to bring Cresselia down thanks to its high HP and defense stats.

Cresselia isn’t the only new Gen 4 Pokemon to arrive in Go recently; last week, Niantic introduced a handful of Gen 4 evolutions to the game. Players can now get Electivire, Magmortar, Rhyperior, Porygon-Z, and other evolved Pokemon in Go. To do so, you’ll need a new evolutionary item called the Sinnoh Stone, as well as the requisite amount of Candy.

The Gen 4 evolutions arrived alongside the ongoing Hatchathon event. From now until November 27, you’ll be able to hatch Pokemon that have evolved forms that were first introduced in the series’ Gen 4 titles, such as Rhydon, Porygon, and Magby, from 2 km Eggs. You also have a chance of hatching a rare shiny Elekid during the event.

The latest pair of Pokemon games, Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, recently launched for Nintendo Switch. By connecting Pokemon Go to the titles, you’ll have a chance to catch the new Mythical Pokemon Meltan. Even if you don’t have either of the Let’s Go titles, you’ll still be able to encounter Meltan by completing a new Special Research quest.

Family Guy Takes On Goldene Eye 007, Watch The Clip Here

A recent episode of Fox’s longrunning animated comedy Family Guy featured a sequence that saw Peter and Meg escaping a prison. But instead of the show’s regular animation style, it was imagined as if they escaped the prison in Rare’s beloved 1997 shooter GoldenEye 007.

The menus, camera angles, auto-lock aiming, same-y looking enemies, and UI are all represented mostly faithfully to the classic Nintendo 64 game. With all of the snowy locations, it looks to be inspired by the level “Surface.” Check it out below. The segment originally aired as part of Family Guy Season 17, Episode 7, which was titled “Griffin Winter Games.”

This is not the first time Family Guy has riffed on video games. A Season 16 episode of the show featured a silly segment spoofing the World of Warcraft Leeroy Jenkins meme.

Before that, Family Guy creator’s Seth MacFarlane’s web series, “Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy,” featured a Mario-inspired short that.

In other Family Guy news, a recent report claimed that Fox was moving ahead with a new Family Guy movie–and it’s been a very long time coming.

12 Cool Monster Hunter Movie Details Fans Will Care About

While the Monster Hunter movie has received some backlash from fans recently because of the seeming lack of anything recognizable from the games, director Paul W.S. Anderson is doing his best to put those concerns to rest. First Milla Jovovich took to Instagram to show off a close-up of a Slinger–a piece of equipment straight from Monster Hunter World–and Tuesday IGN revealed an exclusive first look photo of Jovovich and co-star Tony Jaa fully decked out in Monster Hunter armor and weapons.

They look the part, but we still had dozens of questions to ask Anderson about the upcoming film. We dug up loads of information in this exclusive interview that we think may be interesting to Monster Hunter fans out there – it was to ours! Here are 12 interesting details about the live-action Monster Hunter movie.

Rainbow Six Siege Won’t Make Art Changes Following Fan Backlash

Earlier this month, Ubisoft announced that it would change some elements of Rainbow Six Siege’s art style to create a unified, global version ahead of the game’s launch in China. Now, Ubisoft has confirmed it is reverting the changes in the wake of a wave of negative backlash.

In a blog post, Ubisoft acknowledged that “our community and players have raised concerns,” and after spending a week “working on solutions,” the publisher decided to go back to the way the game used to look.

To comply with certain restrictions in Asian territories, Ubisoft removed Siege’s more direct references to violence–such as skulls and blood–as well as gambling and sex. In-game icons are also being made less violent. You can see a rundown of the changes here in GameSpot’s earlier reporting.

Ubisoft said it’s reverting the changes with the public release of the Wind Bastion update, and the developer asked fans for their patience, as some art elements may not be reverted right away. “We will carefully remove them all to the best of our ability considering the short timeframe and with the lowest impact on the season’s launch date and our build stability,” Ubisoft said.

The impact of the art style revert in Siege would be minimal Ubisoft said, though it acknowledged it could “lead to a season delay and/or some instability as our testing and debug times are shortened.”

As for why Ubisoft is making these changes to begin with, the publisher said it was watching the conversation online, and as a result it wanted to ensure the experience “remains as true to the original artistic intent as possible.”

In the wake of the announced changes, some in the Siege community “review-bombed” the game on Steam. The game’s most recent review scores as “mixed,” though the aggregate of all the reviews in total remains “mostly positive.”

Siege’s Wind Bastion update is available now through the game’s PTR. You can see the full patch notes here.
