Game of Thrones Stars Grill Kit Harington for Spoilers During SNL Monologue

Kit Harington, Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, was the host of Saturday Night Live tonight and his opening monologue included some familiar faces asking for answers about the final season of HBO’s hit series.

Harington took the stage – without Snow’s trademark beard – and began taking questions from the audience after self-deprecatingly mentioning his other acting credits, which include “hits” like Pompeii and Silent Hill: Revelation.

First up was none other than Emilia Clarke, Daenerys Targaryen herself, who asked Harington, “Could you just give us a general sense of how it ends?” After Harington reminded her she was in the show, Clarke confessed that it’s been so long since the last season and that she only talks to a dragon, which is actually just a tennis ball on a green pole, so she has no idea what’s going on.

Game of Thrones: SVU Is the Spinoff We Never Knew We Needed

Saturday Night Live had exactly as much fun as you’d imagine with Game of Thrones star Kit Harington’s hosting gig on April 6. In addition to a self-deprecating monologue in which Harington’s GOT co-stars grilled him for spoilers about the show’s ending, SNL also came up with a number of new Game of Thrones prequel, sequel, spinoff and crossover series ideas – and some of them sound pretty great.

First up, a Riverdale-esque “sexy, moody drama about forbidden love” between Jon Snow and a white walker, who doesn’t see why her undead status should affect their relationship, since Jon was previously dead too.

ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard Match Card, Final Results, And Review

Apparently, Juice Robinson won’t be in the match. Please ignore the fact he’s in the promotional image above. It’s Flip fighting, not Juice.

Match change… again:

Bully Ray, Silas Young, & Shane Taylor vs. Flip Gordon, Juice Robinson, & Matt Haskins

Mat: Flip! Hell yes. I was actually pretty pumped to see Juice Robinson in this match, but I am quite the Flip Gordon fan, so I’m all about this. Some guy in the next row got really mad when Silas and Shane Taylor showed up and attacked Flip. Ok, there’s been like four match changes in the first two minutes.

Please stop hitting Flip with the kendo stick. Anyway, so is a “New York Street Fight” a match where everyone gets all the kendo sticks because that’s what happened here. The bout was very much an East Coast match and nothing like NJPW presents, which is completely fine. Tonally, it feels completely in contrast to what we’ve seen earlier in the night, but it’s very fitting. 13 minutes into this madness, you quickly realize that the winner or loser doesn’t matter as it’s pure chaos in the ring. Sure, it was fun, but it was a bit of a mess at the same time.

Chris: Hang on, I’m just going to sing Flip Gordon’s theme song to myself for a couple of hours. A Bully vs. Flip match is all I ever want, honestly. That said, Juice Robinson, Matt Haskins, Silas Young, and Shane Taylor came out, and it became a six-man tag with weapons and stuff. Again, ROH and NJPW know how to switch things up, and this is yet another completely different kind of match than anything seen so far tonight.

This match was just insane, with weapons scattered around, chairs and garbage cans in play, tables here and there. What’s not to love from a good ol’ hardcore bout? I’ll tell you what, the length of this one. It went on much longer than it needed to. Flip and his team got the win, but it didn’t really mean anything, and it took a while to get there.

Wrestlemania 35: 54 Amazing Pieces Of WWE Memorabilia From Axxess

For wrestling fans, there’s no time of year more exciting than Wrestlemania week. It’s at that time that WWE comes to a city and takes over, presenting TV tapings, live events, and community outreach activations–in addition to the big show itself. Another important piece of the Wrestlemania puzzle, though, is Axxess.

Wrestlemania Axxess is essentially WWE’s own mini-comic con, made especially for fans who have traveled to see the biggest show of the year. It’s filled with special live matches for fans, plenty of meet and greet opportunities with the company’s talent, and even an abundance of interactive activations. If you want to do color commentary on your favorite wrestling match, Axxess if where that can happen. Want to recreate an iconic WWE entrance, complete with music and video? Axxess has it covered.

Perhaps the most impressive part of Axxess, though, is it also serves as something of a museum for artifacts from throughout WWE’s history. From iconic Wrestlemania costumes to cars wrecked by Braun Strowman, Axxess has it all on display for fans to see and take photos of.

Not everyone can travel to Wrestlemania, though. Luckily, this year GameSpot did. We traveled to New York City for Wrestlemania 35 and are able to bring the Axxess goods to you.
