During today’s Nintendo Direct, Miitopia, the Nintendo 3DS RPG where characters based on players’ Miis go on fantasy-style adventures, was announced for the Nintendo Switch.

Miitopia turns Nintendo’s Mii avatar system into a charming RPG where characters will battle enemies, travel to different worlds, build their homes, and make relationships with other players. No More Heroes 3 Gets New Release Date After Delay Last Year

After being delayed from 2020 into 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, No More Heroes 3 just got a new trailer and release date during the latest Nintendo Direct.

No More Heroes 3 is now planned for launch on August 27.

No More Heroes 3 was first revealed at The Game Awards in 2019, where we saw Travis Touchdown return to Santa Destroy after being gone for ten years. Since then, we’ve gotten only a few other glimpses at the game, including a trailer last summer mostly hidden by Suda51’s head, and another trailer a few months later accompanying the announcement of No More Heroes 1 and 2 coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Samurai Warriors 5 Comes to Switch This Summer

Samurai Warriors 5, the latest entry in the musou Samurai Warriors series, is coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime this summer.

During the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, we got our first look at the new entry in the spin-off Dynasty Warriors franchise from Koei Tecmo, which once again takes place in the Sengoku Period of Japan and will follow historical figures Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akeshi.

The last mainline Samurai Warriors title, Samurai Warriors 4, launched originally back in 2014 in Japan for PS3 and Vita, and was since brought to the PS4 and given multiple expansions, the most recent of which landed in 2016. Mario’s last sports outing on the Nintendo Switch was 2018’s Mario Tennis Aces, which our review called ” an extremely fun arcade tennis experience, colorful and dazzling to look at and smartly balanced in its back-and-forth play.” Mario’s sports lineage is of course a long one, with members of the Mushroom Kingdom having played golf, tennis, soccer, and much more in various spinoff titles throughout the decades.

Fall Guys is currently in the midst of its third season, with the recent Season 3.5 update offering a new level, new variations to existing challenges, and much more. The battle royale launched in August of 2020, becoming the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game. And since its launch, Fall Guys has seen plenty of crossovers with famous franchises, including a Sonic the Hedgehog skin, a licensed Godzilla costume, and more.

Outer Wilds is Coming to Switch

Outer Wilds has been announced for the Nintendo Switch.

Mobius Digital’s time-loop sci-fi game will be released for the Switch this Summer. The announcement was made during the Nintendo Direct that aired today. A price was not announced, but in previous releases, it was sold for $24.99. It doesn’t appear like any new features will be coming to the game with this Switch version nor was anything not present in previous releases of the game mentioned during the Direct.

[ignvideo url=”https://www.ign.com/videos/2021/02/17/outer-wilds-nintendo-switch-announcement-trailer”]

Outer Wilds was previously released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It was published by Annapurna Interactive. They are also publishing the Switch variant of this game.

Outer Wilds is a 22-minutes-at-a-time sci-fi game about trying to discover why the Sun explodes every 22 minutes and you’ll learn more about your character’s existence in the process. You’ll need to fly a spaceship around the galaxy while dodging space’s many dangerous elements, which can be tough but IGN’s official walkthrough for Outer Wilds will guide you from start to end.

IGN gave it an 8.4 out of 10 and you can read about why in IGN’s official Outer Wilds review. For more Outer Wilds, read about how it won Best Game at the BAFTA Game Awards last year. Watch Mobius Digital developers react to a 10-minute speed run of Outer Wilds after that.
