Apex Legends is about to go into Season 5. If tradition holds, the new season will see the addition of a brand-new playable character, weapon, map changes or new map, and battle pass. Respawn has already revealed that Season 5 will have a “pleasant surprise” for Titanfall fans.

But when can we expect all this new content? The short answer: we don’t know for sure. However, we can make an educated guess based on when previous seasons have started.

Season 4: Assimilation is drawing to a close, following The Old Ways limited-time event that added a Bloodhound-themed town takeover to World’s Edge, implemented a permanent Duos mode, buffed Revenant, and transformed Lifeline into a more supportive combat medic. Like Season 2: Battle Charge and Season 3: Meltdown, we can tell how much longer Season 4 is scheduled to go based on how much longer the current Apex Legends’ battle pass will remain available.

The Season 4 battle pass is scheduled to conclude on May 5 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. The battle pass will be locked at that point and you’ll no longer be able to complete Season 4 daily and weekly challenges. So if you haven’t finished the current battle pass and you still want some of those rare, epic, and legendary rewards, you have less than a month to do so.

In the past, the time between seasons has shrunk more and more with Season 3 immediately rolling over into Season 4–the update for Assimilation went live around 10 AM PT. Respawn hasn’t confirmed that Season 5 will be the same (and there could be a chance it isn’t, given that the developer’s team members are all working from home) but presumably we can expect Season 5 to launch right after Season 4 ends. So Season 5 will probably launch on May 5, sometime around 10 AM PT.

At the very least, Respawn has already started teasing what’s coming in Season 5 with map changes to World’s Edge. In mid-April, a datapad appeared in The Dome that has a mysterious connection to Titanfall 2’s Effect And Cause level. This week, a second data pad has appeared–this one is in Sorting Factory, as discovered by Reddit user FrozenFroh. The first datapad hinted at secret tunnels beneath Kings Canyon’s Singh Labs, while the second implies there may be even more tunnels hidden on the western part of Apex Legends’ original map.

After K.K. Slider visits your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the first time (and you unlock the ability to terraform), the wandering musician will return every Saturday night to hold a small concert, just as in previous Animal Crossing games. You’ll find him sitting in front of your Resident Services building all day, but he’ll only play music between 6 PM and midnight.

As in past titles, you can either let K.K. play a random song or request to hear a specific tune, and he’ll give you an “aircheck” of the first song he plays that night. While you can purchase most of these recordings through the Nook Shopping terminal, there are a handful of “secret” songs that K.K. will only play by request, so if you want to get your hands on those airchecks, you’ll need to specifically request them.

Below, we’ve rounded up the full list of K.K. Slider songs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The secret songs that K.K. only plays by request are denoted in bold. Keep in mind that you’ll need to type each song title out as it is written below (meaning you need to have the proper punctuation) when requesting the songs; if you spell the title incorrectly, K.K. will instead play a live-only song (which can’t be received as an aircheck) and say he didn’t understand your request after he finishes singing.

If you have friends visiting your island while K.K. is around, you can all watch him perform together. To do so, every player will need to be seated before the player who requests the song sits down; if you sit too late, you’ll miss out on the performance.

In addition to the playlist updates coming this week, developer Infinity Ward has also revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone will get a new Operator and two weapon bundles.

Infinity Ward shared a blog post announcing that Ronin is the latest Operator. An ex-Special Forces Operative and master of multiple fighting systems, he can be purchased through the in-game store and is deployable in both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Also purchasable in the in-game store and usable across both Modern Warfare and Warzone are the Fool’s Gold II and Toxic Ooze weapon bundles. They include legendary weapon blueprints, a calling card, emblems and sprays, and more. You can check out two blueprints–“Deep Pockets” and “Sludge”–below.

Alongside these additions, Infinity Ward has brought back the Call of Duty: Ghosts game mode Cranked, shuffled the multiplayer playlist, implemented the new Gunfight Trios Tournaments, and more.

In other Call of Duty news, Modern Warfare’s narrative director has again teased that a sequel the 2019 reboot may be in the works. Nothing has been confirmed by either Infinity Ward or publisher Activision as of yet.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has taken over the world over the past few weeks, but fans have noted that a few features from previous games haven’t make it into the series’ debut on Switch. According to Twitter user Ninji, however, some of those omissions might be coming to the game after all.

In a lengthy series of tweets, Ninji explains how he datamined New Horizons and found references in the code to features that aren’t currently present in the game. This includes Crazy Redd, the duplicitous and sardonic kitsune that serves as Tom Nook’s rival. In previous games, Redd would sell paintings that you could donate to the museum, and some would be fakes. As Ninji says, Redd may pilot a ship that docks on the northmost beach of the player’s deserted island.

The code includes mentions of a vegetable-growing mechanic, which would be a first for the franchise. It also references bushes, scuba-diving, more upgrades for the museum and Nook’s Cranny, and the reintroduction of Brewster’s cafe, which were all present in previous games. Due to the nature of datamining, however, it’s unclear if these features will come to New Horizons in a future update, or if Ninji is essentially sifting through clippings on the cutting room floor.

Speaking of possible updates, Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s Earth Day event is coming soon. Though details are thin on the ground, the event will be hosted by a sloth named Leif. While you’re waiting, you can import some of your favorite famous art with QR codes provided by real museums.

On the one-year anniversary of God of War‘s release on PS4, Sony announced Raising Kratos, the wonderful feature-length “making of” documentary. For its two-year anniversary, which is today, Sony revealed some new merch that’s available to pre-order now, including a limited-edition Kratos bust that will hurt your wallet and a new book that recreates Atreus’ journal from the game.

Gaming Heads, a manufacturer of premium video game statues, previously made a bust of Kratos based on his appearance in the earlier God of War games. God of War for PS4 saw Kratos evolve not just internally but on the surface, too (most notably: the beard). Gaming Heads has matched that change with this stunning 25-inch bust of the iconic demigod.

Only 500 of these limited-edition busts will be made. You have to put down a non-refundable deposit of $80 to secure your pre-order for the $800 bust. Yes, it’s quite pricey, and I’m not sure how many people actually own busts? But if I knew someone who owned a bust, my guess is they’d wear a monocle while examining it.

A slew of additions are coming to both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, including multiplayer playlist updates, new game modes, and more.

Developer Infinity Ward shared a lengthy blog post announcing various updates coming to Modern Warfare, and the first is a change to the game’s playlist. Starting this week, players can take part in the new Cabin Fever moshpit that features tons of “medium-sized 6v6 multiplayer action” on maps like Hackney Yard, Hideout, Rust, Shipment, and Shoot House. Cabin Fever will be comprised of both deathmatch and objective-based game mode, Infinity Ward said.

Also in Modern Warfare is the return of the multiplayer game mode Cranked and the introduction of Gunfight Trios Tournaments. In Cranked, a deathmatch-style mode first introduced in 2013’s Call of Duty: Ghosts, players are tasked with getting kills in rapid succession or else their Operator will explode once the timer as expired. Meanwhile, the single-elimination bracket-style Gunfight Trios Tournaments will see teams of three attempting to be sole squad standing out of the 16 competing.

Over in Warzone, players can take part in the battle royale experience in Quads, Trios, or Solos now. Trios returned last week after Infinity Ward and Raven Software pulled the mode following the introduction of the “Quads” squad-type. The other game mode in Warzone, Plunder, is also playable in Trios thanks to this new series of playlist updates.

In other Call of Duty news, Infinity Ward has brought back a fan-favorite mode from Modern Warfare 3 alongside Cranked. Additionally, new Call of Duty legendary weapons are available to purchase from the in-game store.

Niantic’s AR-enabled games like Pokemon Go and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite have encouraged gamers to meet up in-person for years now, but that’s not exactly possible for everyone during a global pandemic. As part of ongoing efforts to alleviate this issue, Niantic has introduced the Knight Bus to Wizards Unite.

According to the post announcing it, the Knight Bus will bring players to a special Fortress at Hogwarts Castle that functions similarly to the Fortresses that you would find just walking around. Fortresses are Wizard Unite’s equivalent of Pokemon Go’s raids, where multiple players team up to take on challenges and earn loot. Players summon the Knight Bus via a button on the game’s map, and it’s only available to those who are level 7 or above. Though it’s not currently live, the post suggests it will begin rolling out to players soon. It’s also a permanent addition to the game. “We hope this new feature will come to the aid of players and help them get back into one of their favourite aspects of the game from the safety of their homes,” a portion of the post reads.

This change follows an update for Wizards Unite that aimed to adjust some of its gameplay elements in response to the coronavirus crisis. Previously, Niantic had announced a schedule of live meet-up events for Wizards Unite, Pokemon Go, and Ingress, but it’s unlikely that those events will proceed in the current climate.

Ubisoft has released the full patch notes for Title Update 9, the next update for The Division 2. The update will go live across all platforms during the maintenance period on April 21, which will see The Division 2 servers temporarily go down for three hours starting at 12:30AM PT / 3:30AM ET / 8:30AM BST.

Title Update 9 implements a new Exotic reconfigure feature that allows you to level up your gear’s power level and maintain its utility as you grow stronger. Several Exotics will be reworked as well–Sawyer’s Kneepads will get huge buffs while Imperial Dynasty, Dodge City Gunslinger, Diamondback, and Merciless/Ruthless get minor buffs. Both Lady Death and Bullet King get some minor changes too (they’re more straight reworks than all-out buffs or nerfs).

Like previous title updates, Title Update 9 is huge. Talents are being reworked, Named Items are getting adjusted, some main missions are changing, the loot system is getting some tweaks, and dozens of bug fixes are being implemented.
