Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse won’t come to theaters until December, but it reportedly already has a sequel and a spin-off featuring an all-female cast of Spider-Man characters in the works.

Broken by The Hollywood Reporter, the report notes that Joaquim Dos Santos, known for his work on Justice League Unlimited, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, is being tapped to direct the sequel. Details are scarce, though THR reports that “seeds have been planted” in the first film for a sequel.

Lauren Montgomery, who also worked on the two Avatar series’ as well as Voltron, Green Lantern: First Flight, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, and more, is reportedly in negotiations to lead the charge for an untitled project that will “gather the female heroes in the Spider-Man universe of characters in one adventure.”

Acer’s Nitro 5 lineup is comprised of a budget-friendly range of models designed for casual gamers. Though it offers Intel-based models, it also offers three different Nitro 5 models equipped with AMD CPUs and GPUs. All three are priced under $750, which makes them some of the least expensive gaming laptops available. I previously reviewed a non-AMD Nitro 5 gaming laptop and ultimately found it mostly underwhelming, so I was curious what the experience would be like with an AMD model (See it at Best Buy). It’s also the first AMD-based laptop I’ve seen in quite some time, so I was excited to see how it fared compared to Intel’s latest.

After Fallout 76 players have felt unheard in the recent weeks, Bethesda has responded to the complaints on Reddit, with a full article publishing at a later time on their website.

Bethesda admitted to being too silent and non-communicative with the Fallout community, and said they are focusing on being more transparent from now on.

Minecraft: Story Mode, an episodic point-and-click adventure game from the recently shuttered Telltale Games, has launched on Netflix.

Available to stream now, the first three episodes of the season are up and running, and the final two episodes will be coming December 5. The original first season of Minecraft: Story Mode ran for eight episodes, with the second season consisting of five episodes.

The Netflix version of the game begins with a short explanation on how to play it through the streaming service – all decisions come down to two choices for the viewer/player, and can be input using any remote or computer with directional and select functions.

Bungie unveiled details about Destiny 2’s first mini-expansion, Black Armory on Tuesday. Details can be seen in the video below.

Black Armory will be made available to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players on Dec. 4, bringing with it new exotic items and the ability for players to increase their power levels. Story-wise, the mini-expansion sees the titular Black Armory’s Ada-1 tasking players with reigniting four special weapon forges that were lost during the Golden Age.

As part of this quest line, players in groups of up to three can band together in the new Lost Forges activity in pursuit of one of Black Armory’s new weapons. Players will first need to collect a number of materials and then place them into the forge, which will trigger waves of enemy attacks.

DC Universe has unveiled the official trailer for Young Justice: Outsiders, which is Season 3 of the popular animated series.

The show – which was revived for DC’s online subscription service after being canceled by Cartoon Network in 2013 – picks up with our heroes still dealing with the events of Season 2 while facing the new threat of metahuman teen trafficking and the intergalactic arms race for control of these super-powered youths.

Fans won’t have to wait long for their Young Justice fix; three episodes of Young Justice: Outsiders will premiere every Friday starting on January 4 on DC Universe, with four episodes debuting on January 25 for the midseason finale. The second half of the season will premiere in June, following the conclusion of DC Universe’s live-action series Doom Patrol.

The first Read Dead Online beta has launched, with those who own the Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition being the first eligible players to join the beta.

Details of what Red Dead Online will entail has finally been revealed by Rockstar, and one thing they are pushing already is player feedback so they can continually improve the experience. The beta period will include additions and updates as time goes on, and is meant to be a mode that has the ability to expand.

In Red Dead Online, players will be able to do everything from riding around with friends in a Posse and setting up camp together to completing co-op story-based missions or competing against one another. Just like in the solo game, exploring the world to assist strangers – or to go up against them – will be a common activity, as well as hunting, fishing, Free Roam challenges, and more.

The Walking Dead’s Season 9 mid-season finale was officially the lowest rated mid-season finale in series history.

Per Variety, Sunday’s “Evolution” episode netted 5.1 million viewers and a 2.0 Nielsen rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic. This is down from Season 8’s mid-season finale, which brought in 7.9 million viewers and a 3.4 rating: this marks a 35% decrease in total viewers, and 41% decrease in the demographic.

The highest mid-season finale ratings are held by the Season 5 episode, which brought in 14.8 million viewers, and earned a 7.6 rating.
