Target: Best Black Friday 2018 Gaming Deals For PS4, Xbox One, And Nintendo Switch

Target has already released its Black Friday 2018 ad, and we’ve rounded up all of its deals in various categories, as listed below. But just what is worth heading out to Target (or browsing over to its website) for during Black Friday 2018? We’re highlighting what we think are the retailer’s best game deals this year to help you more easily plan ahead. We’ll be doing the same with other retailers as their deals are revealed, along with a broader look at all the best deals to make shopping as pain-free as possible for you.

Most of Target’s gaming deals involve PS4 and Xbox One, with individual games (rather than accessories or consoles) representing the bulk of the offers. Still, there is a nice mixture of things, including a great doorbuster deal on a PS4 bundle with Spider-Man, as well as a free game for buying a Nintendo Switch. And while not every big fall release is on sale–you’ll be paying full price for Red Dead Redemption 2, at least at Target–many others are discounted. Among others, those include:

  • NBA 2K19
  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
  • Forza Horizon 4

Black Friday this year takes place on November 23, although Target’s deals will be available from November 22-24. Specific store hours on Thanksgiving Day will vary by location, as some states have previously banned stores from opening on Thursday. You can see the store’s full ad on its website.

Read on for all the best gaming deals at Target (in no particular order), and see all of our coverage in our Black Friday deals roundup.

10 Best English Dubbed Anime Series

Whether you’re new to anime and seeking an accessible entry point, a longtime fan who could use a break from reading subtitles, or just looking for an excuse to revisit a classic show in a fresh way, a quality English dub has a lot to offer. As such, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite anime dubs. Please note we opted to keep movies off this list in favor of specifically highlighting the best English dubbed shows.

Check out our picks for the 10 best English dubbed anime series in the slideshow below, or scroll down to see the list.

Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball is without question one of the most popular and recognizable anime franchises outside of Japan, and Funimation’s spectacular English dub of Dragon Ball Z is a huge reason why. Centered around Goku, who’s voiced by the wildly talented Sean Schemmel, DBZ chronicles the adventures of the aforementioned super powerful Saiyan and his friends as they fight to protect humanity from various alien threats. While yes, Dragon Ball Z is known for its crazy, over-the-top action, its beloved cast of eccentric and unforgettable characters is what has truly made Dragon Ball the phenomenon it is today. This is due in no small part to the involvement of one of the most prolific and talented voice actors ever, Christopher Sabat, who does an unbelievable job bringing multiple characters from the series, including Vegeta and Piccolo, to life. — Alex Osborn

Kingsman 3: Taron Egerton Reveals He Won’t Be Back as Eggsy

Taron Egerton won’t be back for the third Kingsman movie as Gary “Eggsy” Unwin, the actor has revealed.

In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, Egerton broke the news while discussing his upcoming film Robin Hood. The reason for Eggsy not being in the third film appears to be a narrative choice that director and scriptwriter Matthew Vaughn is taking. It’s currently not known if other main characters and actors from the previous two entries will be absent from the film.

“I’m not in the next Kingsman,” said Egerton. When asked why, he responded, “I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you. That doesn’t mean I won’t be a Kingsman ever again. I was with Matthew

Batman #58 Lends New Tragedy to Penguin

As much as Tom King’s Batman run has found bold, ambitious new ways of highlighting the wounded man beneath the costume, it’s also worked wonders on several major and minor Bat-villains. The sad saga of Kite-Man in “The War of Jokes and Riddles” stands out as one clear example. There’s also the portrayal of Selina Kyle as a tragic mirror to Batman who sacrifices their romance for the greater good or Bane as a man whose fleeting dance with inner peace is shattered by the Dark Knight. With this newest story arc, it’s clear King and artist Mikel Janin are turning their attention to Penguin. And so far, the results are promising.

When last Penguin was seen in this series, he was revealed to be a member of Bane’s secret cabal, helping the villainous mastermind orchestrate his grand plot against Batman. This issue delves deeper into that alliance and Oswald Cobblepot’s motivations for allying with Bane. Needless to say, it’s not an altogether stable arrangement, and Penguin quickly emerges as a self-interested neutral agent in this deepening war between Batman and Bane.
