Avengers 4 Uniforms Possibly Leaked Via Action Figure Box

It looks like uniforms for a few of the heroes from Avengers 4 may have possibly been leaked from the back of an upcoming action figure box, and they are definitely a departure from what we’ve previously seen Earth’s Mightiest Heroes wear in the MCU.

Spoiler warning: possible spoilers for Avengers 4 and definite spoilers for Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp ahead.

The leaked image of the back of a Hasbro action figure box was posted on Reddit (via The Wrap) and shows Thor and Rocket Raccoon both wearing sleek white outfits featuring the Avenger’s symbol on their chests. Thor is still sporting his shorter haircut he received during Thor: Ragnarok and is welding the Stormbreaker axe he forged in Infinity War. Rocket is simply crossing his arms, but he is a talking raccoon in a full-body suit, so he gets a pass.

Free Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Stuff For PS4 Players

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to launch Friday, October 12 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’re a fan of the series, you probably already knew that, but what you might not know is that PS4 owners can pick up some nice Black Ops 4-themed freebies. In fact, you don’t even need a PS4 to take advantage of some of them.

All of the free items can be collected from PlayStation’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Countdown to Launch page. Here you can click links to get several things. For one, between now and October 11, you can enter to win one of three PS4 Pro consoles that come with a physical copy of the game and are packaged in a massive Black Ops 4 shield tin box.

Next, you can scroll down to claim codes for Black Ops 4 PS4 avatars, as well as a dynamic Black Ops 4 PS4 theme. You can redeem these codes on the PlayStation Store, either in a browser or on your PlayStation 4 console itself.

The theme gradually cycles between images of different specialists from the game, giving each one the slow-zooming “Ken Burns effect” treatment. The theme also tints your system icons Black Ops orange. Finally, the Countdown to Launch page also offers a selection of wallpapers for desktop and mobile devices that anyone can download, even those without a PlayStation account. One set of wallpapers is based on Zombies mode, while the other features the new battle royale-like Blackout mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will ship with the two modes mentioned above, but without a standard campaign like the ones found in previous installments. Instead, you’ll find a selection of single-player challenge missions that are intended to help sharpen players’ skills. In addition to the content that ships with the game, developer Treyarch has a good deal of free post-launch DLC lined up to keep players coming back.

Don’t Miss Free GTA 5 Online Cash Available Now

Whether your GTA Online wallet is looking a little thin these days or you just want to add to your heaps of digital riches, you’ll probably want to hop into Grand Theft Auto V‘s online mode this week. That’s because GTA$ is available in abundance between now and October 15, and you don’t even have to do anything special to get much of it. Here’s a breakdown of what freebies to expect.

Just for logging into GTA Online between now and October 15, you’ll get GTA$300,000 delivered to your Maze Bank account next week, by October 22. You can log right back out if you want, and you’ll still get the bonus cash. In addition to the money, you’ll also instantly unlock a Green Wireframe Body Suit for free (it looks kind of creepy, but hey, it’s October).

That’s not all, though–here’s another big one. If you’ve already completed the Stone Hatchet and Double-Action Revolver challenges, you’ll get an additional GTA$250,000 simply for logging in. But if you haven’t completed those challenges yet and you beat them this week, you’ll receive GTA$250,000 for each one. Better yet, you’ll get another bonus of GTA$250,000 for each of those challenges next week, for a grand total of GTA$1 million.

Also between now and October 15, all four remixed Adversary Modes are rewarding double GTA$ and RP. That means you’ll get a nice boost for playing Hunting Pack (Remix), Trading Places (Remix), Running Back (Remix), and Sumo (Remix). In addition, if you own a Nightclub, you’ll get double Nightclub income all week long.

Finally, pre-ordering any digital edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store gets you GTA$1,000,000 in GTA Online; all you have to do is log into GTA Online by October 15 to get it. And if you’ve already pre-ordered the game from either online store, just log in before October 15, and you’ll get the same bonus. That cash will be deposited into your Maze Bank account between October 16-22.

In other GTA Online news, this week finds three new cars coming to the Southern San Andreas Super Autos catalog. They’re the Karin Futo, Bollokan Prairie, and Imponte Ruiner. New liveries are also available for those cars, as well as for the Maibatsu Penumbra, Declasse Mamba, and Invetero Coquette Classic. You can find even more of this week’s GTA Online news on the Rockstar blog.

Halo Spinoff Games Go Free Next Weekend

There’s a good chance many Halo fans have skipped the series’ strategy game spin-offs Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2. After all, if hair-trigger shooters are your thing, it’s not a given that you’re also interested in real-time strategy games. But if you’ve wondered whether the Wars series might appeal to you, Xbox One and PC players will have a chance to find out next weekend, when the games will be available to try for free.

Specifically, as part of a Free Play Days event, Xbox One owners will be able to download and play Halo Wars 2 between October 18-21. PC gamers can try out Halo Wars: Definitive Edition on Steam during the same window of availability. There’s no word yet about the games being on sale for those who want to buy them once the demo period ends, but that’s traditionally the case. Both games are available through Xbox Game Pass as well.

Halo Wars first launched in 2009 on Xbox 360, pitting human UNSC forces against the alien Covenant army several decades prior to the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. It got an enhanced Definitive Edition for Xbox One and PC in 2016; that’s the version that will be free on Steam.

In GameSpot’s original Halo Wars review, Luke Anderson wrote, “It looks and sounds great, and it captures the essence of the series well, but there’s not much else to keep you coming back once you’ve finished the short campaign and grown tired of playing multiplayer skirmishes between the two sides. It’s good while it lasts, but it will appeal more to fans of Halo and casual RTS players than anyone looking for a deeply engrossing strategy game.”

The sequel, Halo Wars 2, came out in 2017 and takes place shortly after the events of the original and offers a similar RTS-lite experience. “Halo Wars 2 lies somewhere in between an RTS game for Halo fans and a Halo game for RTS fans,” Kallie Plagge wrote in our Halo Wars 2 review. “It adapts Halo’s FPS roots well, taking the series’ classic missions and reformatting them in ways that make sense for a strategy game without sacrificing accessibility. But ultimately, this is a very light RTS experience geared toward Halo veterans, not a robust strategy game, and it runs out of steam quickly.”

In any case, both games are worth trying for free if you’ve ever wondered about them and don’t have anything else to play next weekend.

Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween Review

There are the makings of a spooky, kid-friendly classic buried somewhere within Ari Sandel’s Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. It is a film that features, among its many monsters, a werewolf, a yeti, a cackling ventriloquist dummy, a trio of truly terrifying witch creatures (with eerie Mysterio-like globe heads), a gigantic killer spider, and an army of killer gummi bears (that can mash their bodies together into giant bear monsters before swallowing children whole). There are ghosts, goblins, a headless horseman, and, of course, a flock of flying jack o’ lanterns. So eager is Goosebumps 2 to get to its spooktacular monster mash, that it regrettably hastens past such trivial cinematic necessities as establishing a rich mood in its own opening act. Acknowledging that it is a comedic film for younger kids, Goosebumps 2 still feels unduly impatient.

Aladdin: How the New Trailer Recreates the Animated Movie

Aladdin is the latest in a growing list of live-action remakes of classic animated Disney movies.

And if the newly released teaser trailer is any indication, it may be one of the most faithful adaptations yet.

Most of the footage revealed in this trailer draws directly from the original Aladdin, offering glimpses of the fantastical city of Agrabah, the mythical Cave of Wonders and even a brief glimpse of the titular hero.

Top 10 Haunted House Movies

With The Haunting of Hill House coming to Netflix in series form, and Halloween soon upon us, it’s time to celebrate this most ghastly of seasons with a list – in no particular order – of our 10 all-time favourite haunted house movies.

Any and all of these should suffice as you settle down for an evening of apple bobbing and televisual frights, from the fearsome hilarity of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead II to the altogether more melodramatic horrors of The Haunting. Sure, we’re playing a little fast and loose with the rules – we’re allowing demonic hauntings as much as we are supernatural disturbances – but, regardless of source, if it goes bump in the night, it’s got a place here. So, bolt your doors, shutter your windows and, whatever you do, make sure you’re on the outside when the darkness finally crawls in.

Get a Sneak Peek at Nathan Fillion’s New ABC Drama

Castle only ended in 2016, but Nathan Fillion is already back on the case in a new ABC drama – solving crimes from the other side of the badge in The Rookie.

Fillion stars as John Nolan, a small-town guy who, after a life-altering incident, is pursuing his dream of being a Los Angeles police officer – even if it makes him the force’s oldest rookie. IGN has an exclusive sneak peek from the series premiere, which sees Fillion’s character trying to fit in during his first day on the job.

Beloved by fans for his work on Firefly, Dr. Horrible, and for being the ideal guy to play Nathan Drake, Fillion recently reflected on his career trajectory and why his new character should resonate with audiences regardless of their circumstances.
