The World Video Game Hall Of Fame Inducts Four New Games

The World Video Game Hall of Fame has announced its four inductees for 2020, which will be hosted at The Strong Museum National Museum of Play. The collection, which is made up of historically significant and high-quality games, added two 1980s classics and two games from the 2000s this year.

The four inductees were picked from a list of 12 finalists:

  • Bejeweled
  • Centipede
  • Frogger
  • GoldenEye 007
  • Guitar Hero
  • King’s Quest
  • Minecraft
  • NBA Jam
  • Nokia Snake
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee
  • Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
  • Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?

You can watch the full ceremony below, performed remotely for the first time due to COVID-19, or you can keep scrolling to find out which titles made the cut for 2020.

The first game chosen was Bejeweled, which is praised for popularizing the match-3 mechanic. Part of the reasoning was that its gameplay style is so widespread now, and that the game can be enjoyed by everyone. It was also very important for early mobile gaming.

Next up is Centipede, the Atari arcade classic from 1981, which is noted as being “one of the most commercially successful titles of the arcade’s golden age”. From the same time period, King’s Quest also makes the cut. The game, first released in 1984, is considered a landmark title for narrative and storytelling in games.

The final addition is Minecraft, for numerous reasons–it’s been a huge and very important game over the last decade. The video above contains reactions from many of the developers behind these games, as well as the full reasoning for each title’s inclusion.

In 2019, the four inductees were Windows Solitaire, Mortal Kombat, Super Mario Kart, and Colossal Cave Adventure. They joined such previous inductees as The Legend of Zelda, Halo: Combat Evolved, Sonic the Hedgehog, and The Sims.

Depending on if you found the gun holster in the Downtown area, you may find a short gun holster in this same room. If it doesn’t appear here, you’ll need to wait until the next chapter to find it.

Next to the Capitol Inn Motel, you can find a large green moveable dumpster to the right. Move it around the curb and place it in front of a balcony of a nearby apartment to climb up and search the interior. Inside the apartment, you can find useful items (including supplements in the bathroom and scrap in the laundry room) and an artifact in the drawer to the left of the fridge called Raul’s Olive Branch. .

In the same apartment, go to the bedroom and find a Trap Mine to unlock the Trap Mine Recipe.

Workbench Location – Gas Station

You can find a workbench in the Gas Station off to the far left of the area that’s swarming with WLF Soldiers (more will appear when you reach the Gas Station. Lure the nearby Infected in the bookstore across the street into engaging the WLF for you, and then clean up the survivors. Head inside the gas station’s garage shop to find a workbench in the corner, and search the area for more supplies.

In the bookstore across the street from the gas station, open the door leading into a small hallway (and the bathrooms). Turn left and approach the record player between two comfy chairs.

Visit the Olive Street Market grocery store located down the hill from the gas station (full of infected, and patrolled by WLF Soldiers). You can begin your attack from above, using molotov cocktails and far off shots to take out most of the infected. Once inside, check the lockers in the back. There, you’ll find a trading card. Be sure to loot the store for supplies including some supplements by the checkout registers.

Check the convenience store where the first infected is killed from a tripwire, and before tripwire that separates you from a batch of Runners. In the back, under the society of champions poster (advertising the trading cards), you’ll find your next card.

After first encountering the tripwire, which gets triggered by a Runner, move forward and take the opening on the right, labeled as restricted access (military personnel only). Take the ladder to check out the lookout post for a drawing made by a bored WLF member. Be sure to pick up scraps and other items while you’re up there.

After moving past the remains of a horse and into a narrow street full of tripwires, you can find a Martial Arts Dojo on your right, and a thrift store across the street with wires everywhere. Enter the Dojo, and take the hallway to the left of the trophy case, and you’ll see a cork board with an artifact on it.

In the back of the decrepit building with the Martial Arts Dojo (in the area covered in tripwire), you can find a room with a workbench.

Carefully cross the street full of tripwires and enter the thrift store and walk forward a bit. On your left you’ll see bookshelves. On the children’s bookshelf (back left by the white lamp), you’ll find another trading card.

While still in the thrift store, go through the door ahead. You’ll be in a room of vending machines. Turn to the right and you’ll see an artifact pinned to the corkboard. It gives you a partial code for the safe.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Coin Collecting Guide: Where To Find Every Coin

[WARNING: We’ve done everything we can to minimize spoilers in this walkthrough so you can enjoy the game even if you need help finding collectibles. However, if you want to know nothing about the game before playing, you should stop reading now.]

If you’re reading this guide, you’ve no doubt gathered that The Last Of Us Part II has no one, but two different types of collectibles. You’ve no doubt found all the trading cards using our Last Of Us Part II trading card guide, and now you’re here to finish the job… with coins! There are 32 coins in total to find in the game’s second half, and doing so will earn you a PlayStation trophy that you can show off to all your friends and relatives when they ask you what you achieved this month.

The coins can certainly a little bit trickier to find than the trading cards, not just because they’re smaller, but some of them are certainly in some devilish locations. In this guide, we’ll point you towards the location of every coin in the game, divided by chapter. As we recommended in the trading card guide, for additional help we recommend turning on the game’s High Contrast mode in the accessibility options, as well as the Enhanced Listening Mode in the Navigation and Traversal accessibility menu if finding these things means a lot to you.

After getting out of the truck, look for a group of soldiers talking and standing beside a railing. Go up on the concrete behind the railing beside them to find the California Coin.

13. North Dakota

Once you move past the cargo yard, you’ll climb up a ramp onto an underpass. Head up toward the crashed cars and dead end, away from the ferris wheel, to find a body and the Alabama Coin.

When you drop to the level with daylight, check the bedroom right behind where you land for supplements. Pass the next area and exit into the elevator shaft. When you jump down, smash the vending machine on the other side of the elevator door to your left to release the Wisconsin Coin into the coin return slot.

When you get outside onto the big outdoor patio, jump the bar in the center. At one end, near the opening that lets you get behind the bar, check underneath for the Rhode Island Coin.

The Last Of Us 2 Training Manuals Guide: Where To Find Every Upgrade

In the world of The Last of Us Part 2, finding supplements can help you build new skills to do all kinds of things, from developing more efficient crafting to improving your stealth capabilities. But earning those skills first requires that you first unlock them by discovering Training Manuals, books that impart new knowledge to Ellie so she can start to hone her new abilities.

The thing is, many of those Training Manuals require some scavenging to discover, and are often hidden off the beaten path. To help you out, we’ve tracked down every Training Manual in The Last of Us Part 2, to help you grab every skill and earn a variety of Trophies. Check out the full list below. It’s worth noting that it’s possible you might find Training Manuals in places we haven’t marked–it seems The Last of Us Part 2’s items are somewhat dynamic, and if you miss a manual at one location, it might appear further into the game in another. That said, we’ve definitely located manuals at all these places, and if you follow our guide, you should too.

Seattle Day 1 – Downtown

Your first Training Manual requires some effort to get to. Head for the highway overpass at 6th and Marion. Approaching from Marion street, you’ll see some collapsed roads and a fire engine. Ride to where the military trucks are parked, get out, and climb the one closest to the edge near the fire engine. You can jump across from that one to the other overpass. Go around the right side of the engine to find a rope you can use to repel down over the edge of the overpass. Swing down to the chunk of broken highway below to get inside a cargo crate. Inside is a Crafting Training Manual.

Seattle Day 1 – Capitol Hill

After getting through Eastbrook Elementary, you’ll enter a new section of town, where you can explore several empty storefronts. Once you’ve passed through the motel, look for a bookstore near the gas station–it has a blue door you can enter through in the back, or windows you can break. In the adjoining cafe, find the table near the front door to grab the Stealth Training Manual beside a typewriter.

Seattle Day 2 – Hillcrest

As you explore the neighborhood of Hillcrest, you’ll hop over a truck to clear a fence. Look for a liquor store near a sinkhole that divides you from the staircase you’re trying to reach. Inside the liquor store, to the back and drop down into the basement. There are two shamblers here, so watch your step. When you hit the exit, a destroyed staircase, you’ll enter a daycare center. Look for a body of an infected with a Precision Training Manual on the ground beside it.

Seattle Day 2 – The Seraphites (Dusk)

The Training Manual you’re looking for is in a WLF safehouse located in an apartment building. Keep going down Route 5 until you hit a metal gate you can’t open. (If you jump the fence to get inside, you’ll find a puzzle with a dumpster to solve.) Across the street from the gate is an apartment building with several routes inside, but the easiest path is accessed by climbing on top of the panel truck alongside the building to get to the second floor. Pass through the apartment to the hallway beyond, where you’ll see the white door of another apartment. Inside that one is a Workbench. Use it, then look in the bedroom of this apartment for the Explosives Training Manual.

Seattle Day 1 – On Foot

After getting through the hardware store, you’ll use a rope to get onto the roof of a building. Dropping down inside, you’ll discover it’s a boat repair shop. As you progress toward finding your way out, you’ll get access to the second floor. Use the ladder you find there to make a bridge to the boat in the center of the room. Inside its cabin, you’ll discover the Covert Ops Training Manual.

Seattle Day 1 – Hostile Territory (Dusk)

On your way to the aquarium, you’ll soon come to a string of linked storefronts. Inside the Jasmine Bakery, you’ll find a safe. You’ll need to go looking in the other stores for the note that contains the combination (which, if you’d rather speed up the process, is 68-96-89). To find it, go through the Red Dragon bar to find a path to the second floor, then jump from the balcony to the building across the way. Find a hole in the floor you can drop through, but before you do, grab the Jasmine Bakery Safe artifact off the shelf to the left. Open the safe in the bakery to find the Close Quarters Training Manual.

Seattle Day 1 – The Forest (Night)

Keep moving through the woods until you find an auto shop; you’ll have to lift up the door to get inside. Once you’re in, you’ll find a Workbench. Look for a door on the side of the room, then turn right so you can reach the front office. Inside is the Firearms Field Manual.

Seattle Day 1 – The Coast (Night)

Further on after moving through a cargo shipping yard, you’ll climb into a crashed ferry. Keep moving toward the top deck, but when you hit the long hallway on the side, push to the back to find the Mutiny Note artifact, which has a safe code you’ll need. When you get outside to the sun deck, turn left at the top of the stairs to reach the back of the boat. Inside the cabin at the aft end, you’ll find a safe: use the code 90-77-01 to open it and get the Ordinance Training Manual.

With that, you should have all the Training Manuals, unlocking every skill tree and earning you the Journeyman Trophy. In order to earn the trophies for unlocking all the skills, you’ll need to replay The Last of Us Part 2 on New Game Plus mode to find the supplements you need.

The Last Of Us 2 Weapons Guide: Where To Find Every Gun

Note: We’ve gone out of our way not to include spoilers for anything that happens in The Last of Us Part 2, but looking at any photos or reading any descriptions might give away plot details you’d rather now know. If you’re hoping to remain completely unspoiled, we recommend playing through the game first.

Scouring the post-apocalyptic cities of The Last of Us Part 2 will uncover all kinds of crafting materials–things you can use to build bombs, health kits, ammunition, and more. But all that scavenging will also often help you find more than just alcohol and empty plastic bottles. You’ll also often come across something a little better: additional firearms and weapons that can give you an edge against the many foes you’ll face along the way, both infected and human.

We’ve outlined where you can find every weapon in The Last of Us Part 2, to help make sure you find every advantage (and unlock the High Caliber Trophy). Though we’re marking where we found these weapons, it’s worth noting that The Last of Us 2 seems pretty dynamic–if you miss one, you might find another copy somewhere else. Pump Action Shotgun – Seattle Day 1: Downtown

The first weapon you’ll find out in the world is the Pump Action Shotgun. This one is off the beaten path, but first becomes available in the open-world area of Seattle Downtown. When you get to the portion in which you explore the area and map it as you go, head for Westlake Bank at 5th and James. Inside, make your way to the vault; you can get the code from a note found near a skeleton. (If you’d rather skip that step, the code is: 60-23-06.)

When you get the vault open, find the skeleton of the bank robber who was locked inside and you’ll find the Pump Action Shotgun still in his hands.

Trap Mine Bomb – Seattle Day 1: Capitol Hill

The Trap Mine isn’t another firearm, but rather, an improvised explosive you can craft once you find your first example. You can locate it on Seattle Day 1 after the Eastbrook Elementary portion. Once you leave the school, you’ll enter a complex full of townhouses, then move on to a motel. Before passing through the motel, turn to the right and look for an apartment building with red shutters. Use the nearby dumpster to climb up to the second floor and get inside. Head to the bedroom, where you’ll find the Trap Mine on the bend.

Bow – Seattle Day 2: Hillcrest

This one’s pretty easy. Your path through Hillcrest will take you to the house of Boris, a local man mentioned in most of the notes and artifacts scattered throughout town. Making your way through the house gets you the bow, which is extremely useful for landing silent kills against enemies at range.

Hunting Pistol – Seattle Day 1: On Foot

Like the shotgun, the Hunting Pistol is easy to miss. It requires you to open a safe in an optional location. After passing through the hardware store, you’ll enter a boat repair shop, making your way to the roof to get out. From there, you’ll drop down next to a trainyard off to your left. Before dropping down, get inside the building on your right by finding a hole in the wall near the fence to find the safe–a note with the code can be found in a nearby trailer (the code is: 17-38-07). The Hunting Pistol is inside.

Double-Barrel Shotgun – Seattle Day 1: Hostile Territory

Once you set out against at dusk, continue until you find a series of linked storefronts, including a pharmacy, Jasmine Bakery, and Red Dragon Bar. Heading through the bar can get you up to the second floor, and from there you can jump across to the stores on the other side, which are locked. There’s a hole in the floor you can use to drop down to the ground floor. You can find the Double Barrel Shotgun behind the shop’s counter.

Crossbow – Seattle Day 1: The Coast

After darkness has fallen, you’ll go through the forest, then a construction site to reach the coast. Your path to the aquarium will take you into a crashed ferry. You can’t miss the Crossbow, which is in the hands of a body you’ll shove out of the way to get through a door.

Once you’ve crossed the sky bridge, you’ll have to make your way back down to the street through a destroyed hotel. You’ll use a fire hose to descend from the first level you can access. Keep moving until you hit a spot where you can drop down to the next floor by hopping over a ledge. Instead of jumping, though, look for a nearby bathroom door you can slip through. On the other side, you’ll find the skeleton of a FEDRA officer holding the Flamethrower.

Silenced Submachine Gun – Santa Barbara: Pushing Inland

You can’t miss the final weapon in the game, luckily. You’ll end up with it after a cutscene as you make your way through the Pushing Inland chapter of Santa Barbara, after leaving the boat and heading for town.

Once you’ve got the Silenced Submachine Gun, you should have every weapon in the game and unlock the High Caliber Trophy. If you’re going after the Platinum Trophy for The Last of Us Part 2, you’ll also need to upgrade all the weapons–but to get the materials necessary, you’ll need to finish the game and restart it in New Game Plus mode. The Last Of Us 2 Walkthrough – Part 4: Seattle Day 2 (Spoiler-Free)

Warning: We’ve done everything we can to minimize spoilers in this walkthrough so you can enjoy the game even if you need help finding collectibles. However, if you want to know nothing about the game before playing, you should stop reading now.

Our spoiler-free walkthrough for The Last of Us Part 2 continues below. We’ll help you find every collectible, story item, weapon, and upgrade–without spoiling the story or any encounters. Find everything you need to know below, all of Seattle Day 2.

Seattle Day 2 – Hillcrest

As soon as enter the area, do a 180 and walk back toward the way Ellie came. You’ll be able to drop down onto the bed of a truck. Break the back window to find the Wachumero Trading Card.

Natural Remedies

You can go into the building immediately to your left when you start. Find some supplements on the shelf, then go out the back and to the left to find a hole in the wall to get into the bathroom, where more supplements are waiting.

Rosemont

The Rosemont clothing store is across from Natural Remedies on the other side of the street. Go inside and to the back to find a hole in the wall leading to the basement. You’ll find the Boris’ Daughter’s Drawing artifact on a table and a Workbench, along with supplements and other supplies.

Laundromat

Check the back room for the Join WLF Note artifact on a desk.

Caroline Paper Co.

Once you go over the truck at the end of the area, you’ll see a number of additional storefronts. First, turn left and go through the bushes to find a spot where the street has collapsed. Head through and climb up the other side to get into the stationary shop. The Need a Plan Note artifact is on the table in the middle of the room. Go to the back of the store and look in the pile of boxes to grab the Sahir the Sorcerer Trading Card.

Used and Rare Books

Back at the truck where you climbed into this area, head into the book store just ahead. On the counter, look for the Yolanda’s Note artifact.

Roston Coffee

Check in front of the coffee shop for a Journal Entry. Continue through the coffee shop to find a ladder that’ll lead you to a rooftop.

Bike Shop

Once you make it through the next area, you’ll enter the garage of a bike shop. You can’t miss the Workbench just ahead. To the right, look for a bike with the Naledi the Youthful Trading Card tucked into the spokes of the back wheel.

Velveteen Tattoo

Look near the tattoo stations for some supplements. In the backroom is the Note in the Hillcrest Tattoo Parlor artifact.

Pet Boutique and Grooming

This building and the one connected to it have infected, so be careful. Break the window to get into the back area of the grooming shop to find the Turn in Boris Note artifact; the kitchen of the bar connected to it has the Dale’s Combo artifact.

Auto Shop

Head across the street through the tattoo parlor or salon to find a building with a dumpster propped against the door. If you open it, you’ll get mobbed by runners, so get ready to fight or run. Inside is a safe. The code is 30-82-65. It holds a Short Gun Holster for faster swapping between weapons.

Liquor Store

Head to the back and drop down into the basement. There are two shamblers here, so watch your step. When you hit the exit, a destroyed staircase, you’ll enter a daycare center. Look for a body of an infected with a Precision Training Manual beside it.

Return to the pet grooming shop and go through the bar to find the path forward.

Boris’s House

Past another batch of infected, you’ll hop a fence and come to an open house. There’s a kid’s playhouse in the yard; head around the back of it to grab the Brainstorm Trading Card off the windowsill.

Inside the regular-size house, look on the coffee table to your right for some supplements and the Boris’ Confession artifact. The table with the phone on it near the kitchen has the Rosemont’s Flyer artifact on it. Don’t go into the garage until you’re ready to move on. Once you’re through it, you’ll find the Bow weapon.

The Neighborhood

The next area is crawling with Wolf patrols. In the two-story house at the end of the street, where a rifleman is set up, you’ll find the Reverb Trading Card under the bed in the bedroom.

Before you go anywhere, look to your right. There’s a cliff right here with a great view that you can capture as a Journal Entry.

After getting off the horses, you’ll hop on top of a van and its trailer–only to find the road has caved in ahead and you can’t proceed. Head down into the hole and to the back of the car that’s fallen in. You can get the Austringer Trading Card off the back seat.

Seattle Day 2 – The Seraphites

Enter the convenience store once you’re through the checkpoint. On the right wall toward the back of the store, you should find the Randy Styles Trading Card.

Bar

Across the street from the convenience store is a bar with red awnings. Inside are infected–use a brick or bottle to break one of the windows from a distance to avoid giving the creatures a target. Inside, you’ll find the WLF Target List artifact on one of the infected. You can also find supplements in the kitchen in the back.

Convention Hall

Across from the bar and next to the convenience store is another building you can enter. Check out the “Feel Her Love” sign to get a Journal Entry. Use the ladder in the elevator shaft to reach the second floor, then use the rope tied there to make yourself a path around the locked door outside. Break a window and part of the glass awning so you can throw the rope where you need it, then go outside, climb up, and swing to the window or nearby ledge. Head to the couch inside to find a Shift Trading Card. The next couch over contains the Last Letter to Husband artifact.

Continue down Route 5 until you hit a gate you can’t open. Across the street is a panel truck; climb up on top and use it to reach the second floor of that building. Break the window to get inside and find the Evacuation Letter artifact. Go through the brown door to find the bedroom, which contains a safe–its code is 10-08-83 and it contains supplements and some ammo. Open the drawer in the night stand to find the Star Sign Trading Card.

Go out the other door and continue to the white door to find another apartment, which contains a Workbench in the back, near the kitchen. Look in the bedroom of this apartment for the Explosives Training Manual and some supplements. Grab the WLF Deserter Letter artifact from the dresser with the TV on it. Leave by the front door (you can also go downstairs for more supplies in the laundry room), then hop the gate across the street using the red dumpster.

Contention Center

Once you’re past the gate, you’ll break back into the convention center, this time in the lobby. Drop down to the floor below using the scaffoldings, then look for a locked green-gray door near the front of the building, right near the other scaffolds. To get in, look for some high windows around the back of the room, to the left of the door. Break them and climb inside; check the file cabinet drawer to grab the Arch-Enemy Trading Card.

Take out all the Scars and you can find a Journal Entry near the bus stop at the far end of the park–just approach the body lying there to access it.

After passing through the park, you’ll enter another apartment building. At the top of the stairs, loop around to the back corner of the area and check under a table to find the Doppelganger Trading Card.

Push through Apartment 201 to find the fire escape. Climb to the top and break the window to get into 302. Grab the Dying Husband’s Plea artifact from the nearby body, along with some supplements.

Weston’s Pharmacy

Once you’ve passed through the Merci building, you’ll drop into a pool and climb out on the other side of the road. Look for Weston’s on the left side of the path forward. There’s a Bhat M’Andarr Trading Card right inside the door on the shelf to the left.

NHL 21 Wasn’t Announced At EA Play Live, But Hockey Fans Should Not Worry

EA’s big E3-style announcement event, EA Play Live 2020, brought a lot of news about Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21, but the company’s other big sports game–NHL 21–wasn’t mentioned at all.

The game’s community manager said on Twitter that there is no reason to worry. The game is coming, and it’s expected to be the franchise’s best skate forward yet, the developer said.

This is nothing new or unusual, as EA typically focuses on Madden and FIFA during its E3 events, and leaves NHL for a later date.

Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21 are the first of EA’s sports games to debut on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and NHL 21 is expected to also be available on those next-generation consoles as well. All of EA’s sports games this year will also be on current-generation consoles, and PC in some cases.

EA might have even more sports games to announce in the time ahead. EA Sports UFC 4 is also reportedly in the works, while reporter Jeff Grubb recently said that EA will revive its golf series.

EA’s NHL series has recently made headlines for how NHL 20 features racist player and team names. EA is taking action against these offending players, while the game has been updated with a new new splash page about Black Lives Matter.

Madden 21 And FIFA 21 Look Stunning In These New 4K Images

EA Sports has shared new images of Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21 following EA Play Live, where the games were shown off and discussed. The new “4K” images were posted on EA’s website, and the description says they represent “game engine footage.”

One of the Madden NFL 21 images shows superstar QB Tom Brady in his new Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey following his trade from New England to Tampa Bay. His image is meant to showcase the game’s new environmental effects–in this case, it’s the rain specifically. The image also highlights how jerseys will be affected by rain; you can see the impact on the cloth of Brady’s jersey here.

The other images show how, once again, EA is highlighting perspiration to help demonstrate a new level of fidelity with the sports games. In one of the FIFA 21 images, we see the outside of Liverpool FC’s home field, Anfield, with fans taking selfies. This is presumably meant to demonstrate how FIFA 21 will feature an “unprecedented matchday experience” encompassing elements beyond the sport itself.

Madden NFL 21 launches on August 28, while FIFA 21 is releasing on October 3 according to a leak on Steam.

EA will also release NHL 21, but it was not part of EA Play Live, which is no surprise given that EA historically announces NHL games later in the year. Also not at the show was the rumored EA Sports UFC 4. According to reporter Jeff Grubb, EA will announce this MMA game later this year, while he also said EA is returning to the world of golf games.

This document can be found at the Westlake Bank, which is located on the left side of the large open field (the southwest building on the downtown map). Just to the east of the domed synagogue, you can find a skeletal corner of a building with a few walls and stairway still standing. Climb up the stairs, and break open the windows to move along the outer platforms of the building, allowing you to run and jump to cross the gap to continue climbing to the third floor of the building’s remains. At the top you’ll find WLF inscribed on the wall, along with many supplies – including scrap, supplements, and a trading card in a drawer.

Look along the destroyed freeway – now a river – to see a section of an on-ramp with a firetruck above a small section of a broken platform with an overturned truck. Head to the ramp via the west side and climb onto a nearby truck to jump onto the ramp where the firetruck is.

On the right side of the truck you can find rope attached to the firetruck, and can use it to rappel down halfway, before using R1 to begin swinging to the broken platform where the truck has overturned. Keep swinging to gain momentum before jumping to the platform, and search the tipped over truck for supplements, scrap, food, and a training manual!

Along the freeway-turned-river, you can find a caravan of FEDRA trucks that were ambushed by WLF. In the middle of the river is a truck you can open to find several skeletons of officers, and will also hold items like scrap and a letter.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Weapon Workbench Locations – Where To Find Every Workbench

Note: We’ve gone out of our way not to include spoilers for anything that happens in The Last of Us Part 2, but looking at any photos or reading any descriptions might give away plot details you’d rather now know. There are 25 Workbenches scattered throughout The Last of Us Part 2, and they can be pretty essential to your survival. They’re the only places that you can use gun parts you scavenge throughout the game to upgrade your weapons. What’s more, finding and using every Workbench in the game unlocks a Trophy you’ll need if you want to get Platinum for The Last of Us Part 2. Head to the left from after passing through the motel to find a gas station down the road some. Attached to it is a garage whose door you can slip under to find the Workbench.

As you continue toward the TV station, you’ll find an area with tripwire bombs. To get around them, break a nearby window on the right side of the street to get into a gym. Past the training dummies, in the back of the building, is the Workbench.

Workbench 5: Subway

Your path will divert into the subway after reaching the TV station. Keep moving until you come into a red-lit room with an acid-scoured body hung up in a hole in a fence–Ellie will comment on it. To the right of the body is a ladder you can climb, with the Workbench waiting at the top.

Workbench 6: Rosemont

Right after you enter Hillcrest, you’ll find stores you can go inside: Natural Remedies is right ahead, and The Rosemont clothing store is across from it on the other side of the street. Go inside Rosemont and to the back of the shop, where you’ll find a hole in the wall leading to the basement. You’ll find a Workbench waiting there, along with artifacts suggesting the place belonged to an archer named Boris.

Workbench 7: Bike Shop

Your path through Hillcrest will drop you into the basement of the bike shop and the Workbench that waits there. This is another one you can’t miss.

The Seraphites (Seattle Day 2 – Dusk)

Workbench 8: WLF Apartment Safehouse

Your path will bring you to a locked metal gate that you can’t open (if you hop to the other side, you’ll find a puzzle involving a dumpster you’ll need to solve). On the other side of the street is an apartment building with a truck you can climb to access the second floor. Get inside to find an apartment you can scavenge, then leave to access the hallway. Across from the apartment you left is another one–in the back, you’ll find the Workbench.

Workbench 9: Weston’s Pharmacy

Once you’ve passed through the Merci building, you’ll drop into a pool and climb out on the other side of the road. Look for Weston’s on the left side of the path forward. There are a lot of supplies inside, as well as a safe, and a Workbench in the pharmacy’s back room.

Road to the Aquarium

Workbench 10: Store’s Barricaded Room

After you leave the theater, your path toward the aquarium will divert you through a storefront, and then into the back hallways of the building between shops. As you head down the hall, look for a blocked door on your right, which you can crawl under. The Workbench is inside.

Workbench 11: Department Store Office

You’ll pass an area with a lot of scaffolding in front of storefronts before attempting to make your way up to a footbridge between two buildings. Your path will take you to the left through a destroyed, multi-level department store. Climb to the top floor, but instead of heading to the bridge, turn around and look for a path to the offices behind you. The Workbench is waiting among them.

The Flooded City

Workbench 12: Manufacturing Building

Once you’re done with the mall, you’ll get a boat that you can use to traverse the rest of Seattle to get to the aquarium. Continue until you ride down some rapids and Ellie is forced to restart the boat’s motor. From here, look ahead for a storefront with a blue awning and a sign that reads “Manufacturing.” Hop out of the boat and go in to find the Workbench.

Workbench 13: Barcade

Eventually, you’ll take your boat into the flooded front of a barcade restaurant. The path is blocked here by a gate you have to raise, but the chain is obstructed by debris, forcing you to get out. You’ll find stairs in the back to get to the barcade’s second floor; head to the right, past the arcade machines and pool table, to find the Workbench against the right wall.

On Foot

Workbench 14: Boat Repair Shop

After passing through the hardware store, you’ll use a rope to climb up on top of a boat shop and enter it from the roof. The Workbench is inside and hard to miss as you pass through the building.

The Forward Base

Workbench 15: Tents Outside Hotel

Another one that’s tough to miss, this Workbench is located in one of the green tents as you walk toward Serevena Hotel.

Hostile Territory (Seattle Day 1 – Dusk)

Workbench 16: Scar Camp

Once you’ve pushed through the destroyed building and climbed to the top, you’ll exit into an abandoned Scar camp on an outdoor patio. You’ll find the Workbench in the back corner before you leave.

The Forest

Workbench 17: Garage

After you exit the forest, you’ll slip under the door of an auto garage. The Workbench is against the back wall of the building.

The Coast

Workbench 18: Construction Site Office

Keep moving until you hit a construction site. Climb over the fence and enter the building on the far side to find the Workbench inside.

Seattle Day 2

The Shortcut

Workbench 19: Cellphone Store

Your meandering path will take you up the rapids that have flooded the street, through several stores. After you’ve gone through the apartment that takes you to the roof with the arrows, you’ll soon enter a cellphone store. Look to the left of the entrance to find a Workbench against the wall.

Workbench 20: Near the Prophet Shrine

Once you’ve entered the skyscraper, you’ll ascend toward the sky bridge. Keep going until you see the Prophet Shrine; in the next room is the Workbench.

Ground Zero

Hospital

Workbench 21: Electrical Room

Working through the hospital, you’ll find several of the doors are locked without power. Eventually, you’ll climb into the electrical room, where you can restore the hospital’s generator and power up the doors. There’s a Workbench in the same room.

Seattle Day 3

The Island

Workbench 22: Past The Logging Camp

Making your way across the island will take you to the Logging Camp, and you’ll have to cross through the mill on the far side to continue. The other side is empty of Seraphites, and just ahead, you’ll come to a pair of buildings. The one on the right contains another shrine, but the one on the left has a Workbench inside.

The Escape – Old Town

Workbench 23: Radio Station

When you get to the Old Town section of the island, you’ll make your way to a radio station, which you’ll enter from the roof. The Workbench is inside.

Santa Barbara

Pushing Inland

Workbench 24: Mansion Kitchen

You trip through Santa Barbara will take you down a street where you’ll encounter some infected, and you’ll then spot a clicker on a rooftop. Heading through the hole in the roof, you’ll enter the mansion and then drop down to floor below. Check to your right to find a Workbench in the kitchen.

The Resort

Workbench 25: Workshop

You’ll enter the resort by crawling through a hole in the fence after following the train tracks. Once you get inside, just ahead of you will be a workshop building, past a tent, in the center of the yard. The final Workbench is inside.
