It’s been two and a half years since we’ve seen a new episode of FX’s Atlanta, with Season 2 coming to an end in May 2018. However, series creator and star Donald Glover has a little bit of news about the upcoming Season 3 and 4.
Over on Twitter, Glover announced announced that the upcoming seasons will be great. How great? Well, here’s what Glover said.
while im here: ‘atlanta’ s3+s4 are going to be some of the best television ever made. sopranos only ones who can touch us.
While that may seem like an outlandish statement, Atlanta’s Season 2 episode “Teddy Perkins” is easily the best single episode of any TV series from that year, so hitting the “Sopranos mark” doesn’t seem like a far-fetched idea by any means. GameSpot named that episode the #1 Best TV Episode of 2018 and the series as a whole one of the Best TV Shows of 2018.
The release date for Season 3 is still unknown. Originally, it was going to release January 2021, but considering the global pandemic in 2020, the show has been pushed back. Back in September, FX President John Landgraf spoke about the upcoming seasons: “One of the things that’s been kind of an unexpected boon from COVID-19 was that writers have had a lot of time to write,” Landgraf said (via TV Guide). “Donald Glover and his intrepid team of partners have written everything for Season 3 and 4.”
As it stands, Atlanta Season 3 will arrive on FX the first half of 2021.
The launch of the next generation of Xbox consoles is nearly upon us. Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S both release on November 10, which is just a few days away. While you might already have your plans made for which games and accessories you’ll be picking up alongside the new hardware, those transitioning to a Series X or S from an Xbox One have some other things they should prepare for in the meantime.
Below, we’ve highlighted the key things you should consider doing before you get your hands on the new console. It’ll ensure you come prepared to jump into the next-gen experience and–if nothing else–it’ll help pass the time and make the wait for Tuesday feel a little shorter. Be sure to also give our Xbox Series X review a read to see what awaits.
Move Your Games To External Storage
Perhaps the most obvious and straightforward thing to do is to get your existing games ready. Microsoft has placed a great deal of emphasis on backwards compatibility, and you can expect quicker load times for virtually everything, along with performance and frame rate improvements and Auto HDR functionality for games on a case-by-case basis. There are a number of new games coming out during launch week, but you may want to also check out how much better your existing games are or simply continue playing something you’ve already been enjoying on Xbox One.
Fortunately, the process for doing so is quite simple if you have a supported external storage device. You can move your Xbox One games from the internal drive to an external one, and then plug that into your Xbox Series X/S to begin playing them immediately. On the other hand, you could download them again on your new console, but that’s likely to take a long time and can be rough if you have a bandwidth cap.
Moving games to external storage can still be a time-consuming process, particularly if you have a big game collection. But as we’ve highlighted below, moving them is quite easy.
How To Move Xbox One Games To External Storage:
Press the Guide button, scroll over to Profile & System, and select Settings
Go to System, select Storage
Select the Internal drive and then choose Move Or Copy
Verify the top of the screen shows you transferring to the correct external storage
Check off any games you want to move and then choose Move Selected
Another thing to do as part of this process is download any games now that you might want to try on the new console. That way, you can ensure everything is ready to go on your external drive in advance.
Manage Your Saved Screenshots And Videos
While screenshots and videos can be uploaded to Xbox Live or social media, it’s possible you ran out of cloud storage or otherwise have been hoarding your favorite moments on your console. If you’re planning to sell or even just unplug your Xbox One to make way for the new console (which makes sense, because it can play all your non-Kinect Xbox One games), be mindful of any memories you might be leaving behind.

Take some time to look through screenshots and videos you have that you might want to preserve, whether it’s by uploading them to OneDrive or sharing on social media. Unfortunately, you can’t export screenshots to a USB drive, so OneDrive may suffice for storing those things–just be prepared for some long upload times if you’ve been taking 4K HDR screenshots.
Download The Xbox App
You might already have the Xbox mobile app, which was recently revamped, but if not, you should grab it before setting up your Xbox Series X/S. With the app, you can immediately pair the new console and handle the setup process seamlessly, letting you transfer your Xbox One settings without having to actually do anything manually. That’ll let you jump into the games (or, perhaps more likely, downloads/installs) more quickly.
Double Check Your Sign-In Credentials And Two-Factor Authentication
Do you know the password to your Microsoft/Xbox account? I sure don’t. You’ll want to make sure that you have this (and any two-factor authentication you use on the account) in order before launch day, so you’re not stuck waiting on a “forgot my password” email. With countless people trying to get in on the same day, it’s possible Microsoft’s services could be slowed down, so ensure your account is straightened out and ready to go before booting up the console.
Prepare The Space
Xbox Series X may not be quite as large as the PS5, but it’s still a big console. While you’ll likely be able to fit the Series S anywhere you typically store your consoles thanks to its compact size, the Series X could prove more difficult–particularly if you’ve decided you want to stand it upright. We’ve known for quite some time what the dimensions of both consoles are, but now’s the time when it’s actually going to matter, as you don’t want your console jammed into too small of a space where it can’t ventilate properly. Grab a tape measure or, if you’re really looking for a way to kill some time, build your own cardboard/paper version and see if they’ll fit in your entertainment center. If not, it’s not too late to learn some woodworking skills.
Xbox Series X dimensions: 15.1cm x 15.1cm x 30.1cm
Xbox Series S dimensions: 6.5cm x 15.1cm x 27.5cm

We’re just days away from Destiny 2‘s next chapter, Beyond Light, which launches on November 10. Until then, you’ve got a few days to jump into the Trials of Osiris, Destiny’s toughest multiplayer challenge, to get some unique and powerful rewards–specifically if you can manage a Flawless run.
Each week, the map that Trails matches are played on changes, as do the gear rewards you can earn for notching wins in the tournament. Here’s a rundown of where you’ll play this week’s Trials matches and what you can get:
Trials of Osiris Map And Rewards (Nov. 6-10)
Map: Endless Vale
3 wins — Hunter, Warlock, or Titan Class Item: Cloak, Mark, or Bond of the Exile
5 wins — The Summoner, Solar auto rifle
7 wins — Hunter, Titan, or Warlock gauntlets: Grips, Gloves, or Gauntlets of the Exile
Flawless run — Hunter, Titan, or Warlock chest armor: Vest, Robe, or Plate of the Exile
If you’re unfamiliar with the Trials of Osiris, it puts you into some of the Crucible’s most challenging battles. The goal is to try to win seven battles against other players without losing any, earning what’s known as a “Flawless” run. That gets you a trip to the Lighthouse, a special Trials social space, where you earn special rewards and recognition.
You don’t have to make a Flawless run to earn rewards, though. When playing in Trials, you earn rewards and three, five, and seven wins, and you can lose up to three matches. Once you lose your third match, however, you’re forced to restart your Trials run from the beginning. To access Trials, you’ll need to see Saint-14 in the Tower to purchase a Trials card. You’ll also earn tokens for participating in Trials that you can spend with Saint on additional drops of Trials gear you’ve already earned–but you have to use any tokens you earn on the weekend you earned them, before the weekly reset on Tuesday.

We’re less than a week away from the release of the PlayStation 5 in many regions, which might mean you’re less than a week away from retiring your PS4. But before you go selling your system or putting it into storage, there are some steps you should take to ensure you’re ready to go on PS5’s launch day.
While you’ll probably be fine even if you’ve mothballed your current-gen console already, you can help to speed up your setup process on launch day so that you waste no time in seeing what the PS5 has to offer. Read on to see what you should do in the coming days to get yourself ready and kill some time before the new console arrives. Also, be sure to check out our PS5 review for all the details on what to expect.
Move Your PS4 Games To External Storage
Backwards compatibility may not be quite as flashy on PS5 when compared to Xbox Series X/Series S, but it still works well, allowing you to play your PS4 games, potentially with various enhancements. Those can come in the form of higher resolutions and improved frame rates, along with faster load times–and that’s before looking at games that are being specifically updated to take advantage of the PS5 hardware.
As such, you’ll want to have your PS4 games downloaded and ready to play. Because PS5 games can only be run off the internal SSD, you’ll ideally want to store PS4 games on an external hard drive. You can start moving PS4 games off your internal hard drive to an external one now (along with downloading any others you might not already have installed). It’s a time-consuming process, so be sure to give yourself some time to do it, as your PS4 won’t be usable during the transfer process. Here’s a quick rundown on how to transfer PS4 games to PS5.
How To Move PS4 Games To External Storage:
Go to Settings -> Storage -> System Storage -> Applications
Press Options and select “Move to Extended Storage”
Check off the games you want to move and then press OK
If this is your first time using an external storage device on PS4, you’ll need to format it first. You can do that by going to Settings -> Devices -> USB Storage Device and then select the drive and choose “Format as extended storage.”
There are a select number of PS4 games that won’t work on PS5 according to Sony, so you can save yourself the trouble of moving those.
Get Your Game Saves Ready
The easiest way of transferring your save files from PS4 to PS5 is through the cloud, but that will require you to have a PS Plus membership. If you do have a subscription, you should ensure your console is set as your primary PS4 so that your cloud saves upload automatically.
Go to Settings -> Power Save Settings -> Set Features Available in Rest Mode
Check off “Stay Connected to the Internet”
Go to Settings -> Application Saved Data Management -> Auto-Upload
Check off “Enable Automatic Uploads”
With this done, you can enable and disable cloud save uploads for individual games if there any you want to skip. Be aware that if you use more than one PS4, cloud saves aren’t automatically uploaded from consoles that aren’t set as your “Primary” PS4. In that case, you can manually upload saves or transfer them to a USB drive:
Go to Settings -> Application Saved Data Management -> Saved Data in System Storage
Select “Upload to Online Storage,” pick the games/files you want to upload saves from, and select Upload
OR, select “Copy to USB Storage Device” and follow the same process
When uploading to the cloud, you may need to overwrite saves files already located there, but you can verify which is the newest version by paying attention to the date displayed.

Trophies don’t always upload to your profile on their own–you’ll often see that process happen when you open the Trophies area on your PS4. Before unplugging your system, it’s worth double-checking the menu once to make sure everything is correctly uploaded. You can also manually force this process by pressing the Options button and selecting “Sync with PlayStation Network” from the Trophies screen.
Manage Your Saved Screenshots And Videos
PS5 features some fun new features to commemorate your PS4 history, including displaying your playtime in games and creating a gallery of the media you’ve shared to Twitter or Facebook on PS4. But if you also have screenshots or videos you want to preserve, you can easily copy them off of the system using a USB drive. To do so, simply plug in a drive, open the Capture Gallery, check off individual items or everything, and then choose “Copy to USB Storage” to transfer it all.
Check Your Sign-In Credentials
You’ll need to sign in to your PSN account once you have your PS5 plugged in, so you should make sure you actually know what your password is (and have your two-factor authentication straightened out if you use it). Otherwise, you could be left using Sony’s “forgot my password” system on launch day, when its servers are potentially getting hammered–and you don’t want to get locked out of your account when there are shiny new games to play.
Order A PSVR Adapter
While this likely won’t come in time for PS5’s launch, if you own PSVR and have any interest in using it on the new console, you’ll need a special adapter to connect PSVR to PS5. Sony is offering these for free to PSVR owners, but you’ll need to submit a request through its website to get one. Just make sure you have your serial number handy (found on the rear of the PSVR breakout box) to get the ball rolling.
Get Some Space Ready
PS5 is a big console, and there’s a chance it may not fit into your entertainment console. As such, you may want to make plans to prepare some room for it, whether that’s by looking for a new piece of furniture or dusting off an existing one. Here’s how big PS5 is:
PS5 dimensions: 390mm x 104mm x 260mm

Ahead of the Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man: Remastered launches, Insomniac has been dropping teasers left and right. In the latest reveal, Insomniac took to Twitter to show off the two final all-new suits in Spider-Man: Remastered.
The Arachnid Rider design and name appears to pay homage to popular Japanese superheroes with insect motifs, like the main characters from the long-running Kamen Rider franchise. The Armored Advanced Suit gives a futuristic upgrade to the game’s original Advanced Suit, and features a lot more white and a lot less blue.
Prior to announcing the Arachnid Rider and Armored Advanced Suits, Insomniac also told players that it would include a new suit from The Amazing Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Remastered. Compared to the unique Arachnid Rider and Armored Advanced versions, The Amazing Spider-Man Suit holds a more classic design.
The three new suits will first come to the PS5 version, but Insomniac confirmed that the PS4 edition will also get all-new looks at some later date.
As a reminder for PS4 players: Spider-Man Remastered PS4 saves will not transfer to the PS5 copy. So if you’ve already made progress on the PS4 version, you will need to start from the beginning again on the PS5.
In his Spider-Man: Miles Morales review, Jordan Ramée played the PS4 edition and scored the game 7/10. He comments, “SM:MM feels a lot like a missing chapter to 2018’s Spider-Man. The gameplay is so similar, and the environment is largely the same. It’s in the characters (especially Ganke and the Tinkerer) and the story that it tells that SM:MM manages to break free of what’s been done already to deliver something that you’ll want to see all the way through.”
Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man Remastered will launch with PlayStation 5 on November 12. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PS4 on the same day, and you can upgrade to the next-gen console version for free. As for existing owners of Spider-Man on PS4, there is no upgrade path for a standalone remastered edition. You will have to purchase the $70 Miles Morales Ultimate Edition to get Spider-Man Remastered. Check out our Spider-Man: Miles Morales preorder guide for more information. Ubisoft plans to replace an in-gameWatch Dogs: Legionpodcast host who has made transphobic comments in the past, Kotakureports.
Helen Lewis, a London-based journalist who serves as a staff writer for The Atlantic, hosts two episodes of Watch Dogs: Legion’s BuccanEar podcast. However, Ubisoft confirmed that both episodes will be replaced in an upcoming update. The studio said that Lewis’ comments don’t reflect those of either Legion or Ubisoft itself.
“We were made aware of controversial remarks from a journalist whose voice-over performance appears in two in-game podcasts in Watch Dogs: Legion,” a Ubisoft spokesperson told Kotaku. “Neither Ubisoft nor the game reflect this journalist’s viewpoints.”
Ubisoft went on to say that while in-game podcasters are reciting a pre-approved script, it is aware of how the collaboration may seem to some as giving credence to harmful viewpoints.
“The development team worked with an external producer to select speaker profiles for these podcasts and were not aware of the controversy at the time of booking or recording. While the in-game podcasters are following a pre-approved script and are not speaking in their own name or with their own opinions, we understand this collaboration itself may be seen as offensive and we deeply regret any hurt this has caused. In response, we will be replacing these two podcast episodes in an upcoming update and will reinforce our background checks for partners in the future.”
Before joining The Atlantic in July 2019 and while serving as deputy editor of the New Statesman, Lewis penned an op-ed for the New York Times titled “A man can’t just say he has turned into a woman” in July 2017, lambasting self-identifying legislation in the UK. It’s these views that have caused Ubisoft to reexamine and, ultimately, can its relationship with Lewis.
The Mandalorian’s second season has kicked off on Disney+, but can you really consider yourself a fan if you aren’t watching it decked out in some Star Wars trinkets? Starwars.com has announced and released a line of Star Wars fine jewelry featuring subtle nods to the spin-off’s iconic characters, and the other core series as well. As these fetching items have gold, silver, diamonds, and other gemstones in them, they are probably not for the crowd who are still borrowing a friend’s Disney+ login.
For example, there’s a The Child 10k yellow gold 18″ chain studded with white diamonds for $600 that’s been “carefully crafted in the shape of the mysterious creature.” Ask yourself, is Baby Yoda still all that cute when he costs you the same as a large fraction of your rent? Fortunately, shipping is complimentary.
There’s another Child pendant, with silver and again white diamonds, “crafted with the details inspired by the mysterious creature’s Hover Pram.” It runs a somewhat more modest $400, though there is an extra value here–the pram opens and closes!
“We created this collection for everyone who has been inspired by the powerful storytelling of Star Wars,” said Roopam Jain, president of jeweler Renaissance Global, who owns Star Wars Jewelry. “The designs bring the energy and mystery of both the light and the dark side of the Force to life through stunning high-end collections.”
Ahead of the launch of the PlayStation 5 next week, reviews for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales have gone live. One of the launch games for Sony’s next-gen console, developer Insomniac’s return to New York City stars a younger and less experienced hero in the form of Miles Morales.
It’s this youthful energy and optimism that critics have praised, with many reviewers noting that while this game isn’t too mechanically different from 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man, it’s still a great showcase for what the PlayStation 5 is capable of while telling a gripping tale of a young hero finding his own path in life.
In GameSpot’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales review, we scored it a 7/10. Critic Jordan Ramée said that “It’s a bit of a bummer to see Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales trip up at certain points, but thankfully, that doesn’t happen often.”
We’ve got several reviews listed below as well, and you can check out GameSpot sister-site Metacritic for a broader view of what other critics have to say.
Game: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
Developer: Insomniac
Release date: November 12
Price: $50 / £52 / $95 AUD
VG247 – 4/5
Launch games are rarely remembered as earth-shattering experiences years later, but at the time, elements of them always feel magical. On PS5, Miles Morales has both of these feelings down – it’s familiar and unsurprising, but some of its technical presentation will wow you nevertheless. If you’re picking up a PS5 on launch day, for that reason this will surely do. — Alex Donaldson [Full Review]
Polygon – No score
After finishing it, I was left with a sense of belonging, of intimacy with characters and relationships, in this scaled-down version of an open-world game. Miles Morales is a character who was created to make others feel like they belonged and were welcomed. And now, that’s accomplished off the back of one of the best action-adventure games I’ve ever played. — Tauriq Moosa [Full Review]
Easy Allies – 9/10
Whether you’re taking in the details up close, or soaring over the freezing skyline, Spider-Man: Miles Morales looks and performs better than the first game in every way. It’s clearly setting the stage for a massive sequel, but this is more than just a stop-gap between generations. The struggles that Miles faces and the fears that he conquers to become a hero on his own terms make this short but sweet side-story memorable and meaningful. It’s an unmissable adventure for any Spider-fan that can’t wait for a second chance to suit up. — Brandon Jones [Full Review]
US Gamer – 4.5/5
The early heroic career of Miles Morales gets some shine in this standalone soft sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4. Web swinging is still fantastic and the combat system expands with Miles’ more varied powerset. And while you might have played most of this game before, Insomniac does an amazing job telling the story of its version of Miles. Rooted in his new home of Spanish Harlem, he’s probably the most “friendly neighborhood” of any version of Spider-Man. — Mike Williams [Full Review]
IGN – 9/10
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales may not be quite as packed with content as the original, but it stands out as an essential story in Insomniac’s Spidey Universe. It earns its spot as a fantastic follow-up, telling a wonderful Miles-specific story while improving upon the fundamentals of the first game with distinctive moves and enemies. And it’s an excellent way to break in your new PlayStation 5; it looks spectacular, loads fast, and makes fun use of the DualSense controller, the directional audio, and more. But regardless of which generation you play it on, it’s a worthy follow-up to one of the best superhero games ever made. — Jonathon Dornbush [Full Review]
Game Informer – 9/10
No load times. Beautiful raytracing. The PlayStation 5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a technical juggernaut that continually impresses. It is the ideal way to play the game if you can. Feeling the Venom flow through the controller is quite cool. That’s not to say the PlayStation 4 version is far behind, however. Marvel’s Spider-Man from 2018 remains one of the generation’s best-looking and playing games, and this game’s performance is in lockstep with it. Fast travel and restarts bring up short subway rides and loading screens (they are instant on PS5), and the visuals may not have that next-gen sheen, but the PS4 version is still a beautiful and worthy way to experience this excellent game. — Andrew Reiner [Full Review]

You’ll get those funds deposited into your in-game bank account within 72 hours of playing.
If you have a disc copy of these games, you can just insert it into the disc drive and play, assuming you got the standard PS5 or Xbox Series X. If you own a digital copy, you can find them in the Game Library on PS5 and the Ready to Install section on Xbox Series X/S.
As part of the backwards compatibility on next-gen systems, you can expect a quality-of-life boost with faster load times. Check out our PS5 and Xbox Series X load time comparison for more details.

The world of DC movies has been through a lot over the past four years. While Marvel started the slow build of its Cinematic Universe back in 2008, reaching 22 hugely successful movies by 2019, the film progression of its comic book rivals DC has been more faltering. With Christopher Nolan’s final Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises ending that particular run of blockbuster DC cinema in 2012, the studio turned its attention to trying to replicate the massive success of the MCU by creating its own interconnecting cinematic universe.
But while the MCU developed organically over the course of a decade, DC clearly didn’t want to wait. The keys were handed to Zack Snyder, who scored massive financial success with Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, but found little of the critical praise that Marvel was enjoying. David Ayer’s Suicide Squad was also a box office hit, but terrible reviews and stories of behind-the-scenes conflicts didn’t help, and the 2017 movie Justice League was a notorious debacle that ended the idea that a DC universe could match what Marvel had achieved in the same way.
But, of course, DC’s superheroes are among the most popular pop culture creations of all time, so it didn’t take long for the studio to find its feet once more. It largely abandoned the idea of making every movie connect, and has instead focused simply on making good movies. Aquaman and Wonder Woman were big hits, both critically and commercially, and Shazam showed a comedic side sorely lacking from Snyder’s films. And the dark, R-rated Joker was both a record-breaking box office success and–almost unheard of for a comic book movie–an awards success.
Like all studios, DC’s parent company Warner has had to readjust its release schedule because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the next few DC movies have moved back. But there’s plenty on the way in 2021 and beyond. We’ve listed all the upcoming films we know about so far–some of these have finished shooting and will arrive next year, others are currently in production. There are movies yet to start filming that have set release dates, and others still in early development. And of course, not all might happen, but nevertheless, there’s a ton of great superhero content for DC fans to enjoy in the coming years.
