Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Is Cheaper Than It’s Ever Been Right Now (US)

Released in October 2018, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey brought players to Ancient Greece and gave them an engaging story with compelling characters and choices, two unique protagonists to choose from, and a massive open-world to explore. Odyssey is a worthy follow-up to 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins, and fortunately for anyone who doesn’t already own it, the game is drastically cheaper now than it was in October.

You can buy Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s standard edition at its lowest price at GameStop, where it’s listed for $20. That’s a full $40 price drop from its $60 launch price. On GameStop, both PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are only $20 as part of the retailer’s “Tax Refun” sale, which has huge discounts on games, consoles, and accessories right now. GameStop’s “Tax Refun” sale runs through March 5, so you only have a couple of days to snag this incredible deal.

With its expansive map and a strong narrative that’s heavily impacted by player choice, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was one of the biggest game releases of last year, and GameSpot’s Alessandro Fillari gave it an 8 in his Assassin’s Creed Odyssey review.

“Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s ambition is admirable, which is reflected in its rich attention to detail for the era and its approach to handling the multi-faceted narrative with strong protagonists at the lead,” he wrote. “While its large-scale campaign–clocking in at over 50 hours–can occasionally be tiresome, and some features don’t quite make the impact they should, Odyssey makes great strides in its massive and dynamic world, and it’s a joy to venture out and leave your mark on its ever-changing setting.”

I condemn all unethical content this website stands for. Even if no one within the THQ Nordic Group would ever endorse such content, I realize simply appearing there gave an implicit impression that we did.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey DLC – Legacy of the First Blade: Bloodline Review

As the third and final episode of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Legacy of the First Blade DLC, Bloodline is a satisfying conclusion to the self-contained machinations that were set in motion back in December of last year. While most of the episode’s quests adhere to the formula laid out in episode one, Bloodline breaks with the drip-feed story delivery pace of the first two episodes and finally opens the floodgates for Cassandra or Alexios’ wrath to crash down on the remnants of the Order of the Ancient, cleanly extinguishing what smoldering plotlines remain with the help of a borderline-overpowered new combat ability. With Bloodline’s culmination, we’re deftly given answers to not only the questions it raised, but Odyssey’s place in the greater Assassin’s Creed lore as well.
