The stream is currently titled “Data Transmission in Progress_,” with lines of white code streaming by on a black background. It’s unclear exactly what the stream’s purpose is, though. As of press time, the stream is currently connected to the Twitch game category “Cyberpunk 2077.”

This vague stream follows Cyberpunk’s latest showing at Gamescom 2018. During the gaming convention, IGN broke down differences from E3 to Gamescom that we saw in the behind-closed-doors Cyberpunk demo.

Preacher Ends Its Best Season Yet

Warning: this review contains spoilers for the entire third season of Preacher.

Just a quick note to start things off. Since we’ve stopped running weekly reviews for Preacher, this article will serve as a combined take on the season finale of Preacher and the season as a whole.

Without burying the lede, Preacher’s third season is easily the strongest and most consistently enjoyable of the series to date. Both previous seasons had some fundamental hurdles they were never able to overcome. Season 1 spent far too long focusing on characters and storylines that didn’t matter in the end, almost completely wiping the slate clean so that Jesse Custer’s road trip could finally begin. Season 2, like so many seasons of so many other comic book shows, was too long and never justified its 13 episode focus on the New Orleans storyline.

Watch the First Trailer for True Detective Season 3

HBO released the first trailer for True Detective Season 3 ahead of the Sharp Objects finale on Sunday night, and Nic Pizzolatto’s atmospheric crime drama seems to be going back to its roots in its third outing.

Starring Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, True Detective Season 3 “tells the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods.” Ali stars as Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas, with Carmen Ejogo, Mamie Gummer, Scoot McNairy and Stephen Dorff rounding out the main cast.

Sharp Objects Stumbles with Finale Reveal

This review contains spoilers for the Sharp Objects finale, titled “Milk.”

The horror genre comes in many shapes and sizes, but when done right, it typically leaves you with a feeling of dread that lasts long after the credits roll. “Milk” is an example of great horror not just because of the feeling the last few seconds leave you with, but for how the episode depicts the events that lead to those last few seconds. However, that doesn’t mean Sharp Objects as a whole should be classified as horror, and that makes the nature of its ending somewhat dissatisfying.

Still, the finale is ripe with emotional terror. Between the opening shot of Camille slowly approaching the house, and then being forced to join the bizarro-happy family dinner while she knows exactly what Adora is doing to Amma, Sharp Objects takes on a new sense of foreboding. What was formerly the TV equivalent of a page-turning beach read makes the full transition into a disturbing but believable portrait of mental illness.

Pikachu plays a banjo, Snivy’s on guitar, and other Pokemon are geared up in country and music-themed getup in the key art, and the stage looks like a particularly famous street in downtown Nashville. Shooting Confirmed At Madden Tournament In Florida, Multiple Casualties Reported [UPDATE]

An active shooter has attacked this weekend’s Madden NFL 19 tournament in Jacksonville, Florida at Chicago Pizza, the city’s Sheriff’s department has confirmed.

[Update] The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office addressed the media at 1:30 pm PST/4:30 pm EST. Sheriff Mike Williams confirmed the mall has been cleared of victims and witnesses. There is one suspect, a white male, who died at the scene; he has not yet been identified. Counts of those injured and killed during the attack will be announced later today.

More information is expected in a few hours as the investigation continues.

The original story is below:

Jacksonville police have declared the attack a mass shooting and are urging everyone to stay away from the area for safety purposes. CBS News reports roads are being blocked off as authorities respond to the incident.

The event, part of the Madden Championship Series by EA, was hosted in the Jacksonville Landing Mall this weekend. It was part of the Madden Classic tournament; Jacksonville was a satellite qualifier tournament for the Las Vegas finals on October 11 and 13.

A Twitch stream of the tournament caught the audio of the shooting as it occurred. Two professional players are seen competing when their feed is quickly turned off as gunshots are heard. The audio continues as the attack unfolds. The clip has since been removed from the platform.

“One suspect is dead at the scene, unknown at this time if we have a second suspect. Searches are being conducted,” reports the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on Twitter.

As more updates come, we’ll continue to update this story.
