Like Natasha Romanoff herself, we don’t know much about the upcoming Black Widow solo film other than a few carefully disclosed secrets and what we can discern from the trailer. We do know the story takes place shortly after Captain America: Civil War, opening the way for cameos for the original Avengers. Some of the classic characters from Black Widow’s long comic book history will also appear in the film, including Red Guardian, played by David Harbour (Stranger Things).

Set in the two-year gap between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Scarlett Johnasson reprises her role as the assassain-turned-Avenger, Natasha Romanoff, in her first solo adventure.
As to be expected, there are a spate of character introductions and family reunions in the thrilling new footage, with one early shot showing Natasha entering an apartment complex to face a blast from the past in the shape of “sis” Yelena Bolova (Florence Pugh). Baby Yoda Is Being Added to Minecraft
You’ll soon be able to add Baby Yoda to the PC version of Minecraft thanks to the hard and important work of one fan.
YouTuber Miles Playz has released a video that showcases his Baby Yoda datapack for Minecraft ahead of its release in a few days. He’s currently finishing it up but will be done shortly so we can all treasure this small, blocky child.
The video shows off the Baby Yoda model – tiny and green, as it should be – moving around and even using Force powers to lift an enemy mob up.
Talking to people on the r/minecraft subreddit, Miles Playz reveals that one of Baby Yoda’s idle animations will see him drinking soup.
Starship Troopers – Terran Command, An RTS Due In 2020, Announced–Here’s The First Trailer
A new Starship Troopers game is on the way, and it’s an RTS that will pit your human army against the bug-like aliens that franchise fans are so familiar with. A first look gameplay trailer for Starship Troopers – Terran Command has been released, with the game due at some point in 2020. It shows off a short snippet of alpha gameplay, as the human forces are overrun by Arachnid.
There’s also an announcement trailer to enjoy, which captures the pulpy feel of the game. It comes from the creators of the Order of Battle series, and has only been announced for PC.
The game is set in the universe of the Starship Troopers films, which started with Paul Verhoeven’s 1997 satirical sci-fi action movie that spawned multiple sequels. In the game, you’ll fight over different planetary campaigns, and the story and missions you take on will change depending on your choices. Since the Arachnid enemies greatly outnumber you, you’ll need to account for this in your tactics, and use the numerous different units and abilities at your disposal to fight them.
The game is available to wishlist on Steam, where some additional key features are listed:
- Dynamically generated campaigns for virtually limitless replayability.
- Dozens of unique unit types, each with their own special abilities.
- Terrain elevation, True Line of Sight & True Line of Fire provide deep tactical gameplay.
- An extensive technology tree to develop and customize your forces.
- Persistent leaders can be attached to units and upgraded throughout the campaign.
- Heroics, explosions, gore, and Bugs. Lots of Bugs.

PlayStation Awarded Guinness World Record
PlayStation has been certified the “best-selling videogame home console brand ever” by Guinness World Records. The achievement was awarded in light of combined sales of PlayStation hardware totalling some 450,190,000 units between the original console’s launch in Japan on 3 December 1994 and 7 November 2019. The record includes hardware sales of PlayStation, PS2, PS3 and PS4, based on figures from VGChartz.
An event to commemorate this milestone was held in Tokyo on 3 December 2019, PlayStation’s 25th anniversary, and was attended by Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan and former CEO Ken Kutaragi, who is fondly referred to as “The father of the PlayStation” for his work leading the development of Sony’s first game console in the 1990s.
Black Widow First Trailer Breakdown: Everything You Might Miss
Let’s break down Black Widow’s first trailer.
Surprise! Marvel has dropped the first trailer for Natasha Romanoff’s solo movie, Black Widow, and it’s jam-packed with never-before-seen footage, new characters, and all sorts of hints as to just what our favorite super-spy might’ve been getting up to back in that weird, vague time period between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. We get our very first look at Rachel Weiss’s Melina Vostokoff, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, and David Harbor’s Red Guardian, as well as not one but two brand new costumes for Natasha herself and a few up-close-and-personal moments with the movie’s villain, Taskmaster.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an MCU movie if the trailers gave everything away, so there’s still plenty of mystery to speculate on–but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to do our best to pull out every shred of information from these 2 minutes and 9 seconds. We’ve combed through the trailer frame-by-frame and come up with some critical details, hints, and clues as to Natasha’s story. Let’s break it down.
Black Widow: The First Official Trailer is Here
The first trailer for Black Widow has been released, and it shows off more than just Scarlett Johansson’s lead character.
Natasha Romanoff has been an integral part of The Avengers since the beginning. Her debut in Iron Man 2 solidified her as an adept fighter and a covert operative. Her powers of persuasion made an impression on Loki in The Avengers. Her boldness in Captain America: Winter Soldier dismantled both S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra from the inside out. And her valiant sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame saved the universe.
Now, Natasha Romanoff is back in her own stand-alone Marvel film. Black Widow hits theaters in May of 2020 and will officially kick off Marvel Phase 4. You can watch the first full-length trailer for Black Widow above.
